This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

This deal is based on 2 people flying out from Gatwick on Sunday 8th September returning Wednesday 11th September, staying for 3 nights in Smart Apartments Radna.

I’ve never been to Gdańsk myself but I know plenty of people who have said what a beautiful city it is and that it’s definitely a must visit! Please feel free to suggest any things to do/see in the comments to help our follow travellers

The hotel I’ve chosen is Smart Apartments Radna and they’re located around a 10 minute walk to the heart of the city. They are private rooms and have a private en suite bathroom. The apartments have good reviews on TripAdvisor and have free parking for anyone who wants to hire a car. They have good reviews on Booking.com saying there are supermarkets close by and it’s nice and quiet.

There are plenty of other hotels to choose from for around the same price and cheaper if you don’t mind sharing bathrooms or staying in hostels.

As the flights are with Wizzair you need to add priority boarding if you want to take a large hand baggage, this would be my personal choice to add the baggage on which costs an extra £16pp return. I’ve not added it on in this deal as many people would be more than comfortable taking a backpack or a small hold-all to fit what they need in for the 3 days. It’s complete up to you!

The flight times aren’t the best upon landing arriving at just gone 1am however it will only take around 15 minutes in a taxi and cost you around £7. You still will have plenty of time to visit the city.

Price breakdown

Flights booked through Wizzair - £35.96

Apartment booked though Booking.com - £50

Total price for 2 people - £85.96

Total price each - £42.98

Price breakdown including priority boarding

Flights booked through Wizzair - £67.96

Apartment booked though Booking.com - £50

Total price for 2 people - £117.96

Total price each - £58.98

we can gdansk if we want to, we can leave your friends behind Cause your friends don't gdansk and if they don't gdansk
Well they're are no friends of mine?
If you go Sopot is just down the road, beautiful seaside resort.

voted hot but wizzair is a disaster.

Personally I disagree...I have been using wizzair for years and don't remember having any issues with them ever
Very nice city, also worth a day trip to Sopot on the train, very cheap. The museum of the second world war in Gdansk is huge and definitely worth seeing.

Bargain if this is your local airport.
Museums and the crane are well worth a visit.

Cheaper than the Travelodge in Boston.

Well I tried Wizzair once and I decide to avoid them for good.
The trip was from Venice to Copenhagen. It delayed for several hours and then cancelled for no reason.(it was a clear day) After one hour queue at the counter, I was told that I could take the next flight(which was 3 days later). Of course I didn’t take the offer and worse still, they refunded Wizz credit to my account. I was furious and wrote an email asking them to refund to my card and take back the garbage credit. They refused and claimed it was because of some extraordinary circumstances that led to the cancellation. My insurance company needed clarification for the so-called ‘extraordinary circumstances’ and they couldn’t provide more info. At last, I got the compensation with the help from Aviation ADR after 6 months of back and forth emails.

Good one Thanks for the chuckle
Interesting fact...if you fly from UK with Wizzair to any destination you can/should claim Air Passenger Duty Tax .. £13 per child
We went to Gdansk for the Christmas markets a couple of years ago. Wonderful city and wonderful people.

Gdansk is soooo beautiful!
Catch the walking tour, very good.

Gdansk as you say is a very beautiful city. It is also extremely friendly. When we were there about 20 years ago ended up talking to a bunch of surgeons who as is the Polish way shared their bottles of vodka with everyone until the ridiculously small hours. We had to quit eventually leaving pretty much all the surgeons asleep in the bar, to stagger back to our hostel.

Great place Gdansk.
Gdansk is a really nice place to visit. Sopot is not to far away if you fancy a day on the beach.

Or stay in Gdansk, there is 7 beaches as well
Danzig was ethnically cleansed at the end of WW2.

Danzig's population rose from 357,000 (1919) to 408,000 in 1929; according to the official census, 95% were Germans

Just saying...

Two excellent museums in Gdansk. World War 2 Museum, a long afternoon is needed to do it justice, and Solidarity Museum which needs 2/3 hours plus it has an excellent viewing platform of the docks. I would also recommend the free walking tours, remember to tip your guide.
Would it be possible to add a 13 year old to this?
Personally I thought it was a kip. I've been twice and can't see any reason to return
Loving all these cheap trips to Poland. Fancy visiting either Krakow or Gdansk, just hoping for some North West based flights soon.
Is this place any decent for going on the lash with a mate?

Going out is significantly cheaper in Poland than the UK, if you like craft beer there's a really good scene in Poland. Beer that you would be paying well north of £6/7 in the UK is often only £3, think barrel aged stouts, imperials etc. Pints of standard polish lager which is better than UK brewed clone fizz is sub £2 without having to look very hard.

Yeah but in the summer you probably want to go Sopot witch is right next to it. It will be full of likeminded opposing gender creatures.

To sum up, yes it's a perfect place for that.

Couldn’t agree more. Flew them once from Luton to Warsaw and vowed never to do it again. I am no fan of Ryanair either, but, in my opinion, they are 5-star compared to these clowns.

That said though, Poland is beautiful, and I am up to eight trips now - six to Warsaw and two to Kraków. It’s a country steeped in history, with plenty to see and do, along with some of the most amazing food in Europe. Gdańsk is definitely on the to-see list

Is that still now or they not charging APD any more ? Been using wizzair twice since January with a child under 1
I loved Gdańsk. Went a couple of years ago. Really nice city with a rich history. Good food and beer too. Only downside to the trip was my Brother being arrested and banged up in the drunk tank for the night and then my friend was fleeced by strippers. They actually brought him back to the apartment to get his bank card, then cleared him out. They even stole his Jacket

Thanks I will avoid these clowns, appreciate the input
To this day I fail to understand this site. This isn't in any way a discount or deal. Good value yes - though our definition of budget travel differs as I'd never pay this much for flights or accommodation to/in Gdańsk - but there's no discount. As I see it, for there to be a deal, it should be a special offer. Not just two things someone put together. If I considered that a deal, I'd share each and every trip I took here as such.

I mean no ill will to the OP. It just seems odd to me.

Why the racism against Poles? I’m black and have never had a problem over there or with Polish people so jokes like this aren’t appreciated.
Great deal ! Great city !
Bargain ! They are coming from Gdansk to see the film.

Birkenhead is not a good night out mate
You ever been to Birkenhead?
I was there in January and loved the place. Great bars, cheap as you like and a beautiful town. Worth pointing out that the World War 2 Museum is Closed on a Monday, but Free to enter on a Tuesday (Or it was when we were there at least)

Yeah, but the flights to the U.S.A. are too expensive....
