Just booked this cheap and cheerful holiday in Bude, Cornwall. I though it was a bargain price for a chalet that sleeps four. Had to share. Weekend of 12th - 15th April

Nothing to do in Bude its a really boring place.

Depends who you are. If you like Cornwall you’ll probably like Bude. Surf town smaller than Newquay and has a nice vibe with pubs and surf shops and plenty of nice beaches.

Should be a nice little break - I love Bude.

Hope the weather brightens up for you.
Would love to book this, do they allow dogs?

Bude, nice place you can see it for miles, the sign says 5 miles to Bude and 5miles later the sign says 5miles to Bude you can almost touch it but feels like you have missed it.😁

There was an option to pay a little extra for dogs.
I stayed here quite a few years ago. Our chalet was terrible. Damp and mould on the walls. Apart from that it was alright.

Thanks for this. I’m from Bristol but a massive fan of Cornwall and never been to Bude. This is reassuring

Yes there are some lovely beaches there and a massive open air sea swimming pool on the main beach.

Also a lot of nice little places along the river and you can also hire boats along.

Cornish miles, they are famous for them.
Try Pentire next door for dog friendly accommodation
I think its expired. Nothing left at that price. Tried to book but couldn't find the chalet.
5.4/10 review. Not voted either way

Ah so you've never been to Bude Tunnel, 5 Stars on Tripadvisor!
I’ve been to Cornwall a few times, I was disappointed by Bude, place looks a bit run down
If somebody is looking for a really good campsite near Bude I can recommend Wooda.

brilliant, has put me right off - saved a really long car drive to Bude!
Just came back from a weeks holiday in Bude. A great place to explore from if you have a car with Boscastle, Port Issac, Tintagel and Clovelly not far away. Also lovely walks along the Bude canal, with plenty of eating places to suit all budgets and tastes. You are also right on the SW coastal path.
I would only hang out here if I had a car. There's some very cool stuff not far away dotted along the coast - Boscastle, Tintagel, Hawker's Hut, Sandymouth, Rocky Valley and plenty more, but I normally last about ten minutes in Bude itself before wanting to leave.

Just a heads up that the price is showing as 105 quid for 4 nights from Monday 15th.

Didn't book it myself as my wife is pregnant so can't risk staying in a moudly chalet

Got here yesterday and although I was expecting the worst I have been pleasantly surprised! No smell or signs of mould 😁
