This deal is based on 2 people flying out of Manchester on Sunday 13th October, returning Wednesday 16th October, staying for 3 nights in the well reviewed La Cornice Guest House.

There are some flights from London for around the same price throughout October.

The flight times in my opinion are perfect as you get almost 4 full days to explore this beautiful city.

The apartment is located around a 3 minute walk from the metro station and will get you into the heart of Rome in 15 minutes. It has excellent reviews of 4.5/5 on average on TripAdvisor. There is a mandatory city tax to pay when you’re there of €21 which needs to be paid in tax. Most major European cities have this now, however Rome is the most expensive I’ve seen!

There is plenty of other accommodation to choose from, you can save a fair bit of money if you don’t mind sharing a bathroom or if you don’t mind staying a bit further out of town.

As the flights are with Ryanair it doesn’t include any luggage, not even a cabin bag sized hand luggage. If you add priority boarding it is £21 each return and this will mean you can carry a 10kg cabin sized bag and a backpack. It maybe worth trying to pack everything into a rucksack as it’s only a 3 day trip or sharing a cabin bag if you want to keep the price down!

The best way to get from Ciampino airport to the centre is by one of the transfer buses, there are a few companies who operate from the airport and are fairly cheap at about €8 return each. It takes around 30 minutes if there’s no traffic but be aware when it’s busy it can be fairly slow, I almost missed my flight once due to heavy traffic!

Guesthouse booked through Ebookers using voucher code UNWIND15 for 15% off - £108.82

Save your £198 and don’t bother it’s a DUMP

Indeed... there are old ruins everywhere. You'd think they would have torn them down by now and built a Starbucks.

Could say the same about many areas in England, including London..
We have to look past that and appreciate every city for what it is.
The place is a dump full of robbers and pickpockets - horrible place,

and they you get on the plane and fly to Rome.

Amazing place; with all the cash you save get to the Vatican. One of the most stunning places I've ever seen.
Love Rome and nowhere near as expensive to eat, get around and goto places as people think.

We got one of the guided tours and wish we hadn't. The little Italian guide seemed to rush us round so fast we didn't have time to take much of it in.

We had the little earphone things that we had to return at the end to get our driving licence or credit card back. We only stopped for 5 mins when a larger American guy nearly passed out from the heat and pace!

Omg we had a tour as well we paid 95 euros !!! And the little Italian guide was terrible so boring took us his own life story for most of it and had a few cigarette breaks!! So many people actually made excuses and left!! Still hurts to think how much of a waste of money that was!! By the time we got to the cistern chapal we just wanted to get out!!
Slight problem with this deal,....... Rome is full of Italians.
Note to self... never ever post a holiday deal on HUKD.

Come to Glasgow the whole place is a ruin!

The problem with every single one of these deals is if you are in Scotland you have to travel from Edinburgh - its a helluva trip to Edinburgh airport now and as soon as you enter Edinburgh as the airport you can add £300 to the flights!

Watch out for the pickpockets though and never engage the bag sellers and touts (usually Africans) in conversation or you will get skinned - Same in Venice i saw one of em actually fighting with a Police officer when he tried to inspect the bags he was selling.

The bogs in Italy are not very nice i would have wanted to get out asap too!
Hope ye didnt get any jobby on ya!

Rome used to be great but it has a really bad garbage issue due to the dump just outside the city which has overflowed and contaminated the water supply and should have been shut years ago i think there is a documentary on it Trashopolis quite a good youtube series!

£21 to have baggage?! Never heard such lunacy
Visited some years back, absolutely fantastic place with so much stunning architecture and history around every corner.
Nowhere near as expensive as we thought it would be and easy to get a reasonably priced meal every night
Will definitely return some day and would recommend it to anyone 🔥 🔥
Thanks, very cheap flights even with extras. Booked accommodation near to centre though as wife particular about sharing bathroom.
