No, I have just tried.
Bought. Heard/Read good things about these little lights. Thanks OP
Had the Mr Beams version of these on my staircase for about 5 years and they still amaze guests back in the good old days of that happening!

Definitely worth trying to pick up some Aldi/Lidl rechargeables to go in these.
Ordered thanks. I have been looking for this .Hope it lives up to the expectations

Good find...Thank you!
How these old different from the 2nd generation slightly more in price??
Had these for over 2 years now, they were really good for set of stairs/bathroom. Have purchased 3 more sets for friends and family and they all love them. Researched the new v2 of these and these older ones seem to be more reliable.
Got these and they are good but I find they come on before the xiaomi one ie before it is dark enough so the batteries need replacing before the xiaomi ones do.
No way of adjusting the lux setting which is a

The 2nd gen have 2 brightness levels
Guys help my imagination out and let me know of the uses of these that you’ve bought them for?
Can anyone, who has these, comment on the battery life? I have a different set that burn through 3 AAA batteries in about 2 weeks, only triggered 5 or 6 times a day.

We’ve got them in the cupboard under the stairs

I have one of these in the bathroom for nocturnal visits, and one on the stairs to help me see on the way to the aforementioned nocturnal visits. Enough light to see without turning on the main lights.

Top of the landing. When ya need a tinkle and don’t want to switch on the light and blind yourself or wake up the household. Also saves one from falling down the stairs

These are brilliant for route light for kids who cant reach light switch especially when they are trying to find way to the loo The only annoyance if you have cat or dog expect replacing batteries more often
one screw? why not three?

will these stick well to an outside wall, survive the wind and rain?
Bought these last time after trying other lights, these are the absolutely brilliant.
Do these come with double sided tape or magnetic strips? I can't see how these are stuck without needing to purchase some sticky stuff
One plug-in per floor, that’s all you need. Wilko for a fiver

The listing shows them with 4 sticky pads on the back and says don't move them because they lose their stick so you'll have to buy some more sticky tape if you plan on moving them a lot.
I just stand mine on the floor in whichever corner suits me at the time. They work well though maybe a bit too bright. I’ve taped paper over them to diffuse the light.

They won't weigh anything so one screw is more than enough if you mount it correct. Not IP rated so rain will probably kill them fast. There's similar solar ones with good reviews for ~£20 on Amazon.
Might be a silly question but do these come on with the sensor during the day?
Still got my Xiaomi ones going strong after 5 months. Only changed batteries once.
Can't recommend these enough. Brilliant for the landing and the bathroom. Had mine for 15 months and still on the same batteries.
Any good for toilet roulette in the middle of the night? I need 60 seconds :-)
Great little lights. Batteries last ages. Have 6 in my hall and stairs.
Have these they are great, screw them under the kitchen wall units.
I got these highly recommended!
I bought some random brand, it's wider and has the same 15 second thing. I originally got it for either my balcony or my toilet and it's almost like it has to turn off at 15 secs and then you have to wave at it again so I didnt feel its practical. Are there any with the option to have it on for longer, perhaps 60 secs?
Got these in bathroom and on the landing, fantastic

Link?
These are so handy. Have one on the bathroom wall so that midnight trips to the loo aren't too bright for your eyes, and prevents having to use the loud light switch! Also useful in my wardrobe inner doors to see what on earth is in there, as my room is quite dark. Could be handy for small cupboards too, or in a hallway for when you wander around at night!

These are good, but I still prefer the Osram rechargeable ones I've picked up from Home Bargains for £3 Or £4. Shame they don't have them anymore, wish I would have for more than 3.
