Wouldn't mind keeping an eye out for the same but can't seem to find it on Amazon do you have a link
Excellent deal for some. I got one of my mum who just sends a few emails and looks at the internet from time to time. Uses it via a mifi and we can just forget about it for 12 months. No top ups and she can not run up a bill.

d'you think they'll ever do this again? The data only sims seem to have been >£2/GB recently despite all the amazing deals last summer. Beginning to think we'll not see them again?

Last time they did this was three months ago. Just set up a camel camel alert for £30.

whenever I have tried tethering from my phone abroad as a hotspot, it is blocked and redirects to a website. Should I be allowed to tether from my phone? Or can it only be used in a mobile wi fi device?
The key word is 'abroad'. Foreign networks that allow Three to roam do firmly block phones from tethering if they are using something like Three Like Home. On the other hand people say from experience that MiFis on Three SIMs do tether abroad, otherwise the MiFi wouldn't work at all.
