Just got back from Asda and there's a load of new wines added to their frequent 3 for £10 offer. The best saving is 3 Banrock Station Reserve chardonnay verdelho which normally retails at £8.91 - so normally £26.73 for three.

Loads of different reds, whites and rose available.

Full list of available wines if you follow the link.
Then scroll down to "beers, wines and spirits" and then near the bottom is the direct link marked "Wine 3 For £10 (8/12/2008)"

Happy boozing!!

Why do supermarkets think we can survive on booze, and Asda why not lead the way and be different and discourage drinking, lets have reductions on basic food items please.

Oh take your soap box somewhere else. Its nearly Christmas, Drink and be Merry.

Great deal. Hot Hot Hot!!!

Plenty of food deals ..... follow the link

Of come on... they do bread for 40p a loaf. What do you want? Jam on it? (52p ;))

Voted hot - some decent wines in this deal for a change. :santa:

Whenever I am in Asda I always grab the 3 for a tenner offer. Spent £16 last night, £10 of which was on booze!

But do people buy it at that price? They put it on the shelves in small quantities at that price, just so they can say it is worth that price. I would say it normally retails at 3 for £10 ... as that is the price when people actually buy it.

No the Jam is expensive but you could make a sausage sandwich with their 50p swept of the floor sausages, whether you would enjoy any of it is another question, drinking 3 bottles of wine might help it down though.

Great deal. cheers for the heads up!

I do love booze!

Grt deal always handy for teachers gifts and stuff

Good deal.
Many thanks.

If there are so many "hot" votes then who is voting this "cold"? Come on cheer up. It's cheap and good quality booze in time for Christmas. In fact, forget Christmas. It's cheap and good quality booze in time for tonight!! Whooo hoooo

I saw this the other day and noticed that Blosson Hill was shelf priced at £7.98. I have NEVER paid nearly 8quid for a bottle of BH. I read somewhere that the shelf edge label is the price at which the wine..er..merchants(??) WANT to sell their wine at but everysupermarket sells them cheaper so you think you're making a huge saving when really it is only £3.99 a bottle instead of the £7.99 the shelf says it was.

Yes it probably was £7.98 at some point in Asda to enable them to says its a massive saving, but I bet they didnt sell a great deal.

Still a saving and I do buy them myself but supermarkets are a little misleading.

I take your point but this rule applies to DVD's, CD's, Games...just about everything. That's why HUKD is a great site. Yeah, some wine shop will be selling them at £7.98, but thanks to HUKD they won't be selling quite as many now. Just as a DVD retailer won't be shifting too many copies of their £17.99 DVD when we've learnt it is only £8.99 elsewhere.

need to stock up for christmas heat added
