4 GB Data (was 2 GB)
12 Month Contract
Three Micro SIM Card

it showed as £10 a month, plus £24 back, making it £8 a month?

Thats if you prefer the manual cashback option i.e. send them bills and claim back.
I prefer the automatic option i.e. £9.17 and no hassle

Hank, have you ever approached 3 to upgrade your currently monthly 4GB data allowance to unlimited on-handset data? If so, how much did 3 want for that add-on? Thanks.

I got it last october as a new customer - if memory serves, it was a double data deal so that's the only reason it was 4gb instead of 2gb.

I haven't gone for unlimited data, no. I did have unlimited data with virgin but i found i rarely used more than 3gb per month anyway, so i felt i was paying too much for something i wasn't using.

saying that, i think if i could add it to my current package for a reasonable amount i'd consider it.

It's hardly walking barefoot over hot coals, sending a couple of bills in

The talkmobile deals look good, shame they use Vodafone though.

for the record, i've just been on live chat with them and they've offered me 30gb of AYCE data for an extra £9 a month, making £18 a month, or i can have double data again and have 8gb of data for only an extra £3 quid a month, making my bill £12 a month, which is very tempting ..

30GB of AYCE data? Is that one or the other, or combination of 30GB tether + AYCE handset data? Thanks.

you can buy the tethering option as an add-on - i think it's referred to as "at home"

he didn't mention tethering, just that 30gb AYCE would cost me £9 a month extra.

Seems contradictory to offer 30GB AYCE (all you can eat) data; I suspect the intention was combination of 30GB tethering + AYCE handset data. Was hoping it may have been nearer £5, but maybe that would be a little unrealistic.

Yeah I was hoping for about a fiver as well as i'd have probably taken it.

8gb could well be more than enough for me though - I remember when I used to use Spotify fairly regularly and i rarely broke 4gb a month with that.

EE matched this deal straight away yesterday, no issues was paying £16.99 for 500 mins 5000 texts and 2 GB data.

its been showing me this price since november 2016

just gone for the extra 4gb for £3 a month on top of my bill. it's not a new contract either, which is handy.

Got it for £8 and also tracked TCB

My wife want's a sim upgrade and this seems ideal, can she port her current phone number over to this?

PS the current deal is cashback by redemption. It's not very clear on the advertisement.
