Hold out. They'll be giving it away in a couple of days!
This deal probably has something to do with the explosion at the cheese factory last week...

De-brie was everywhere
I saw this but it smelt quite strong is it a really strong and smelly cheese or can u use it like cheddar Gloucestershire mozzarella etc on pizza or not thanks for any information
Bought one at Asda today for £1.20 usually a lot more unless promoted but what a great price and yes you can freeze them , not too long but they hold well ,as a Chef most brie is bought in large wheels then portioned then frozen !
These would definitely do a better job of running America than Trump.

Can be lovely soft cheese, but one of very few I do not buy near sell buy date, it can start to have a very ammonia taste and smell, not always of course. Btw I am not fussy and will happily eat out of date cheese, and virtually anything else!! As long as it seems ok. In answer to your question I would not recommend brie for pizza.

Any particular reason it's not going be good for pizza if it's a mild tasting one I might try it then thanks for the information.

Just wouldn't be my my choice, the mould on the out side would not (probably) melt, leaving it on the pizza as a different texture/entity. That said at this price there's not much to lose. Let me know what it's like. It will be similar to having a hot camembert albeit with many extra toppings.
