Any 3 4 pint milks for £3, I buy 18 pints a week for 6.60. Now I can get 24 pints for £6. I'll upload a picture when I go back up.

4 pints in Asda for £1. Don't need to buy 3 if you don't need them.

4 pints £1 in Tesco, Lidl, Asda

if you do need to buy 12 pints its a good price, not for me though. maybe would be hot if you'd made the picture a pair of boobies

4 pints £1 in Tesco, Lidl, Asda, Iceland and Aldi.

Co-op is squeezing out old people, students and anyone who has difficulty buying three containers.

It's to make them sound generous, while limiting the number actually sold at the deal price.

So much for the Moral Co-op.

What a small minded neanderthal - and people keep telling me they're extinct.

By all means report my comments about the co-op - which were accurate, and not drivel by any stretch. But with your brain, I very much doubt you had a clue what I was talking about.

Thank God there's no risk of you having kids, eh?

4 Pints in Tesco is now £1.39, same offer 3x4pts for £3. Shopped on Saturday and was gutted to have to pay that price. Do not have enough storage for the 3 x4 pints.

Asda still £1

Sainsbury £1.29

Morrisons £1.39

Tesco £1.39.
Prices as at 15:23 on 14/09/2013

My local Tesco, they have two 'own brands' of milk - one is usually £1 for 4pts - but is always limited supply (and often sold out). The other is £1.39 and (I think) 3 for £3. The cheap one isn't called Tesco, but it's in the small print on the label.[something Fields?]

Asda, Lidl, Iceland and ALDI deffo £1 for 4 pints

Phew mate, a lot of emotion over a few pints of milk!! However, I do 100% agree with you about squeezing out certain categories of shopper. They are limiting their offers to people that can store/use that amount of milk, or anything else come to that.

I'm gutted really, my fridge won't hold 3 big containers, and freezing it is so unnecessary. Back to Asda by the looks of things.

Keep Calm and nil carborundum illegitimi. (think)

Symbolic; Thatcher Milk Snatcher, EC Milk Lakes, farmers ripping us off, supermarkets ripping farmers off ... now blaming badgers for cows smoking too much. Or something.

Where will it end?

This price all the time at morrisons

i shop at farmfoods for my milk as they are much closer than a co-op store, but co-op prices are higher because they have agreed a set price with the dairys/ farmers, offers like these are to try and compete with big supermarket prices and still give farmers a liveable income...oh and you forgot POUNDLAND

The Co-operative Food is to increase the price it pays on milk to farmers within The Co-operative Dairy Group (CDG) from 31.85 pence per litre to 32.15ppl.
Around 220 dairy farmer members of the CDG will receive the 0.3 pence per litre price increase from 1 June, 2013.

The Co-operative continually monitors and reviews the price it pays for milk, which fluctuates according to market conditions, to ensure we provide our CDG farmers with a competitive package, inclusive of price, which will result in an overall 0.3ppl increase from June.

2L jugs not 4 pints. Still slightly better value, but not 4 pint jugs, so not comparing like with like.
