Fantastic deal for this moisturiser.
Great for eczema.
I was actually advised by my doctor to get this for a dry skin condition I had and all the prescribed creams I was given never touched it but the Aveeno cleared it up in a couple of days.

Although doctors don't know everything I imagine your GP would already have you on this if he/she thinks it would help

I get this on the minor ailments, free!

Aveeno is absolutely amazing stuff and healed my eczema by 90%, but one thing to note is that this is the LOTION, the product best for eczema is Aveeno CREAM. The consistency of the two is different, the lotion is okay but nowhere near as good as the cream. The cream is available on prescription.

Ask for Aveeno CREAM, that's the one recommended for eczema.

Had to comment on this.

Ive had very bad hand eczema for years and i get 2 of the Aveeno CREAM pumps on prescription. They are brilliant, just make sure you use it all the time and keep putting it on 3 or 4 times a day. It really does help. By far the best cream ive come across for mine and once rubbed in you dont know its there.

Never tried the above lotion though.

Good deal but I find that the "daily moisturiser lotion" to be too weak. I got dry skin due to eczema and if I use this then I pretty much need to be putting this stuff on probably 5-6 times a day. I rather go for the 500ml "Lotion" one which seems to be stronger in the moisturising department and I only need to put the stuff on probably 3-4 times a day and lasts me a good month and a bit for £10.

Never tried the "cream", is it really good? How many times roughly do you need to put it on? There was a product called Dermaveen which I'm sure some of you heard of, that stuff was amazing but for some reason the UK stopped importing this stuff a few years back and I have been stuck on Aveeno every since which is not as good....

May try the cream but its sooo damn expensive hate eczema.....

Never tried the cream although the lotion worked for me.
I think the OATS is what makes this such an effective product

The cream is 1/3 off at boots at the moment.

The aveeno intensive hand cream is excellent, I get this on prescription for my daughter. Great for eczema and not just on your hands, can be used all over, this one is great as instead of applying several times a day it is designed to be applied once a day. Only downside is it is only in a 75ml tube, but if you ask go for a few you only pay one charge if you pay for prescriptions.

My son suffers from eczema as well as I. The surgery was constantly prescribing Steroids for my 18 month boy which I refused to give him. It wasn't until I read an article on a mother who was having the same problems but had discovered Aveeno that I requested my GP to prescribe it which they did. Thankfully it worked & cleared up his Eczema completely. It doesn't work for me tho.
So , no not all GPs are that good.

good deal, ordered a few for my daughter, thanks OP

I have it for free from GP but this is great price! heat added.

Thanks, ordered two sets.

can only echo above comments - daughter has used the lotion for years, she got it on prescription (after years of me buying it and not realising the doctor could prescribe!), funny brown colour lotion but really good for her in the shower.

Yep is free from the GP

Remember though it's only free from the doctor if you qualify for free prescriptions!!

Many Thanks! Its a great lotion - had very bad allergic reaction on my face last year and both cream and lotion helped lots! Still use it now as have scaring under skin.
Find it also works for nails keeps them hydrated!
heat added!!!

Great deal if you can't get free prescription from the doctor. Our doctor prescribes us both of the cream and lotion. Great for the winter.

Just ordered some. Never used Aveeno before but always wanted to try as I've heard they are fantastic moisturiser. Thanks for sharing!

BTW, the 20% off discount on multi buy did not apply when I places my order.

Double base is the best for ecizma

Thanks! Ordered and heat added

Hi guys, i have eczema on the back of my arms. It is not itchy or dry and they look really red and blotchy. I have used dermol before and that didnt do anything. Do you guys think this would help clear up the eczema on the back of my arms? Thanks.

Definitely give Aveeno CREAM a try! If you can't get your GP to prescribe it for you then you can pick it up at BOOTS - they currently have a third off their normal prices.

Aveeno Cream @ Boots

Another cream I highly recommend is Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisture Cream, this isn't available on the high street or on prescription as it's a US based product by Aveeno. You can get it on eBay or Amazon Marketplace (I get mine on eBay), this cream is absolutely SUPERB...honestly it literally heals the skin overnight. I use it when I have an extreme eczema flare up that the normal Aveeno Cream sometimes can't heal. Hope this helps.
