BS. People eat junk food because they are lazy, eating healthy requires some effort.

mmmmm
I think some people trawl the site all day looking for things that trigger them. Why can’t people live their healthy lifestyles in private without constantly feeling the need to remind everyone else of how terribly unhealthy they are. Well done, you eat kale and cook all your own meals from scratch.

I’m a cooking enthusiast - I can do a good job of pretty much anything I turn my hand to....but you know what? I still prefer a fish and chips, a KFC or a pizza from time to time, and I can’t make a better McDonald’s than McDonald’s when I want a McDonald’s.

Oh this again

It’s true though, go have a look how much vegetables and seasoning cost. If you wanted to eat healthy you can get more than 3 pizzas worth of healthy food for £5.

How am I supposed to eat healthy when junk food and drink is so cheap?

Any tips on keeping 2L+ Pepsi Max fizzy once opened? I find it goes flat if not drank in the first sitting - terrible really.

Yeah, I'll have a fish supper, a sausage supper, two pizzas, a roll, 2 mars bars.....oh, and a diet coke.
Idiocy.

As you close the opened bottle, squeeze it so the drink rises near the top and seal shut so there is less air inside the bottle.
Thanks
Is there a salad option?

You can’t get all your needed calories and nutrients from pizza, chips and Pepsi though.

I am certainly not dictating, it doesn’t bother me what others put in their gut. Just don’t say eating healthy is more expensive. Nothing beats a cauliflower based pizza.

Brain food is sometimes needed my friend.
If you ask Iceland nicely, they might just give you some cardboard from leftover boxes for free, then you just need to add some toppings and you have a pizza on par with theirs...cheaper too. How is that for a hot UK deal?
I used to get fed the Iceland's cardboard pizzas as a child. Never again, I just refused to eat that day when we were served these.
Pepsi makes me feel like I'm dying unfortunately.

This will SPEED up the drink going flat. The only thing to stop the fizz escaping is pressure, NOT lack of air in the bottle. Physics baby!
@Chanchi32 is deffo off the cookies and onto Pizzas!

Used to be able to get caps to which you attached a small pump, and you could repressurise the bottle!
God forbid anyone who would rather buy a nice filling pizza over a salad once in a while. I'll bet those who can't help but criticize everyone else's diets don't have a family to support on minimum wage.
Damn no such offer in our local food warehouse

Well it made a huge difference for my larger bottles, but I should have added that I positioned them in the fridge in a way they wouldn't be able to expand again.

To further lengthen the life of my fizzy drinks I stopped putting them in fridge doors so it isn't agitated everytime the door is opened and closed.

But yeh, it worked for me and I'm happy with the results, that's all.

Maybe I am. Explain why ready meals are so popular in UK? One of the richest countries in the world.

Evidence suggests a global epidemic of obesity. Statistics from a WHO (2004) report on global trends showed England had the steepest increase in the prevalence of overweight children from 1960–2000.

Lazy ass parents are causing kids across the country to be overweight. This is a serious problem that doesnt require excuses,it requires people to take more responsibility.
This is hotuk deals isn't it? Not a discussion group about the nutritional value of food? I'm sure there's many other places that discussion could take place but on a Deals site? Anyway voted hot as it seems like a good deal!
