I got it, used my £30 credit which applied to my account instantly and paid the balance with my normal method of payment. No intention of using the credit card. Not sure why so cold. Hot for me

Read some of the reviews for 'newday' the provider, not very encouraging
Horrendous and inept customer service from the credit card provider. Wouldn't touch them again for a £100 gift card.

What about getting them just for promotion gift card and not actually use them any issues else apart from. Credit check impact etc.
Newday=Inept!
I got this card a few years back but sounds like I hope not to have any issues. Only use it for amazon purchases.

Was thinking exactly the same, signed up today and got the £30 credit straight away.
Shows £30 for me...non prime members get £10!!!
Voted hot, thanks.

As above only £10 reward if not a prime member. However it's worth checking what other offers appear on your Amazon page.

My offer (without prime) was £25 gift card for taking out the Amazon Classic Mastercard. Almost as good as this one and supposedly easier to get. In theory anyway as the ******* turned me down!!!

Got this last week £25 I'm non prime
Do you have to deposit any money when signing up ?
cheers OP! Got £30
Won't be signing up for this, been burned too many times. In a few months they'll write and say Amazon has binned them off and you've now got a crappy credit card that gives no points and you cannot cancel.

£30 is for prime members.

I didn't. The 30 quid just sat on the account until I used it. Item I bought was 48 quid so just paid 18 quid difference from the account I normally used. Don't have to use the credit card in any way

How can you not cancel a credit card???!!
Fantastic deal! £30 for free!
Had the card for a couple of weeks (was a £50 voucher for me) and had no issues with it. Only use it for Amazon and the app lets you pay off the balance with no issue. It seems like only those who set it up for DD repayments have had issues.
