This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Click on link to see if eligible and if you are you get an immediate £500 credit limit so can use over rest of Black Friday.

So £30 "free" and 1.5% cashback on Amazon spend for Prime customers - making it the highest rewarding
cashback card for Amazon spend. Even the 0.5% on non Amazon spend is not bad these days. For non-prime members cashback works out at 0.75% on Amazon and 0.5% elsewhere....still not bad these days?

NOTE : IF you are getting a technical error its only because this has gone hot - try later and it will work. They are obviously not used to such volumes!

All rewards are Amazon vouchers applied directly to your account - so not exactly "cash".

Amazon Platinum Mastercard®
Sign-up offer: £30 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card for new cardholders*
No annual fee - set up direct debit to pay in full monthly and no charge at all

Amazon Reward Points
For eligible Amazon Prime members**:
Earn 3 Amazon Reward Points per £2 spent at Amazon.co.uk,
Earn 1 Amazon Reward Point per £2 spent everywhere else
For everyone else:
Earn 1.5 Amazon Reward Points per £2 spent at Amazon.co.uk,
Earn 1 Amazon Reward Point per £2 spent everywhere else

As with all credit cards

Yes of course it's a deal. £30 for nothing and 1.5 % cashback.

Correct - but this is easily changed in settings. Those voting cold - I challenge you to show me a better credit card deal

They (Newday Ltd) don't seem to fair that well on TrustPilot.

Agreed - but I have had no problems, phoned them once to set up direct debit payment in full and no problems. Probably not a card to go into debt on!!
I'm always too scared to try these in case something goes wrong and I'm charged 50% interest rate on the purchase amount.

Probably a lot of people suddenly hitting link thanks to my post - try laters when it quietens down
I have the classic, they say they give the platinum after a year, didn't know you can apply for platinum straight?
You can get 10% if you buy gift cards off people.
yep seems to be down - too much hukd demand !
I've had one of these cards for a year or so, no problems, £10 added to my Amazon gift card balance several times. For non-prime (myself) cashback works out at 0.75% on Amazon and 0.5% elsewhere.

Which is still pretty good these days - thanks have edited that in for clarification.
If you have had this offer in the past but no longer have the account, can you apply again and still get the offer?
Well got one lets see how it goes

I only apply for credit cards for the sign-up cashback. Never actually use them.
Did this last night. Thirty quid str8 in my gift card balance. And will use this card now for all my Amazon purchases. Heat added.

having used this card for a while, NewDay are absolutely shocking. They purposely fail to honour the first direct debit instruction for the first month's balance, stating that they require 4-6 weeks for admin to sort out the payment details - so you have to pay first month balance manually.

The amazon benefits are worth it though, as long as you dont need to contact customer services...

Yes definitely - but as always depends on your credit rating!
Unfortunately there has been an technical issue that means we haven’t been able to proceed with your application.

Please try again.
Got approved and to the final stage of the application for it then to say “Unfortunately there has been an technical issue that means we haven’t been able to proceed with your application.
Please try again in 24 hours.”

Will this affect my credit rating?
Surely its not 1.5% cashback, its 0.75% off Amazon or 0.5% elsewhere as the points are based on £2 spend not £1...

Unless I'm wrong, this works out at 0.75 points per £1 amazon spend and 0.5 points for spend elsewhere....

Crafty of amazon.

Wouldn’t mind signing up. If I didn’t keep getting technical error every time

You pay off the balance in full or pay the min amount each month when they send you a statement. If you don't spend anything on the card then there's no interest. If you set up a direct debit then on the safe side send the first payment through your bank.
Can you pay this card online? Easy to get?

Yeah I got through the first few pages to the proper checker though so just not sure. Literally clicked to sign the document and there was a technical problem
