  • Insight tracking: Oculus Insight tracking system instantly reflects your movements in VR without the need for any external accessories.
  • Touch controllers: Oculus Touch controllers precisely recreate your hands, their gestures and interactions, so every game is real enough to reach out and touch.

OK deal but was hoping for a decent reduction on the quest alone. Heat though

Rubbish, there's no saving. You get the £30 off from the Vader Immortal in the standard package anyways
Struggling to see the deal here the quest is £399 everywhere and the stand is currently reduced on its own?
The deal is on the charger alone, rather than the Quest or the bundle itself

The deal on the dock is worth it, but better to list that separately
Quest or index?
The quest has become a very hot product given the new link software enabling it to work with a pc as well as hands free.

As much as I’d love to see a deal it’s a sellers market for these which is why I grabbed one off eBay.

It’s great btw!

Quest or index?

Depends on what you want from your VR.

Index
+ Much better refresh rate
+ 30° wider field of view
+ laser tracking
+ Designed for PC use so will work better on PC

- Expensive
- Can't use without a PC and really needs a high end PC to get the most from it

Quest
+ Can be used on its own or with a PC
+ 360 movement when untethered, giving you a huge space to play with (you can adjust the space)
+ Much cheaper
+OLED screen is really clear

- Not as good quality
- Heavier on the face (cheekbones especially, I'm sure mine are stronger for it!)
- PC connection is still in beta

The deal is relating to the Quest.. Quite clearly states that in the title.. Index is better, but £1000 for the pleasure of it

This is a great answer!

I've had a PSVR since launch, and recently changed to a Quest, and I absolutely love it. The freedom of movement is amazing, and the cross-compatibility with PC's feels like it's almost rendering the Rift S as obsolete. The Index is really a different proposition, and for the more serious VR enthusiasts.

With Christmas looming, and friends/family gatherings a great time to play with VR, I think the Quest is a no-brainer if you're purchasing your first headset.

Agree. Went down the same route. Also a lot of PSVR games gave be bad motion sickness (I'm talking 3 day flu like symptoms here) and Quest's better display hasn't so far (though I felt decidedly off after trying Minecraft on the link as it was so jerky).

I loved the PSVR's library, it's one of the best VR games catalogues at the moment but the Steam and Oculus store are catching up.

The convincing factor for Quest, though, is standing in a living room with no wires playing Beat Saber.
Don't forget virtual desktop which gives you the ability to stream from your pc wirelessly. It's a work in progress but on a good 5ghz WiFi it only has 40ms lag
Which is better to get 64gb or pay the rest and get 128gb?

I believe you could have downloaded every single game on launch and filled up only 20GB. Personally, there's no way I'd pay £100 extra when it's easy to uninstall and install games
ive just sold my 64gig Quest for 380 - every tiime i used it i get neck and shoulder pain from the weight and i'm a big guy
Bought the 64gb version today. I'm impressed with it so far and I find it pretty comfortable to use. I just need to find a good cable to connect it to my laptop now.

I’m using an Amazon Basics 3m braided cable £8.99 and it works fine. I’ve only noticed any stutter on Agards Wrath. That may be due to me running on an AMD RX5700 (which isn’t supposed to be supported yet). Although I’ve not had a single issue with it other than that.

The 3m USB 3.1 Amazonbasics cables work fine.

Thanks, I bought one last weekend. Only tried it a couple of times but haven't had any issues with it so far
