Yes - not clear how long you can do that for but I just activated one after 4 months

I had loads of problems with them. Got their half price Black Friday sim. Has an issue so contacted CS. They couldn’t help me and couldn’t prove I bought the 6m half price deal so they put me onto full price and only 2gb instead of 3gb. So I’ve moved back to Talkmobile who I had no issues with for years. CSis non existent and not very helpful (edited)

I really rate Lebara. Got 3GB data + unlimited minutes & texts for £2.95 a month for 6 months. No problems whatsoever.

You expect CS for 99p pm Presumably you can pay £2.97 for 3m then get the PAC via SMS and port your number onto the next deal elsewhere. Bargain!

I’m with them and can’t fault the service or reception. Can’t see myself moving to any other provider unless they can beat the price Lebara offer! (edited)

I've been more impressed with Lebara than any other provider in recent years.
Never had any issues with their India based customer service either.
The only problem I had was turning off auto renew on the mobile app. For some reason it kept turning itself back on but CS resolved this for me without any drama. (edited)

'Switched' today. Well, ported number in after sim worked fine on temp number.

Still with no calls, texts or data. APN etc correct.

Wish me luck that everything 'refreshes' tomorrow.

Or it's a dreaded few days in hell with Lebara CS who know less about telecoms than you and have a toddler's grasp of English.

Did it work? I'm in exactly the same boat. I want to transfer my old number across to Lebara (who have do far been excellent) but am worried about getting trapped in a numberless limbo.

I've been reasonably happy since switching to lebara several months ago. My only complaint is that inside most steel buildings its really difficult to get an Internet signal. Pretty. Much non existant in my local asda, sainsbury and costco. Walk outside the building and the signal is perfect. It's really frustrating. On the positive side phone signal is very good.

Those who have been with this company. How does it compare to ID mobile?

I'm currently on EE 200GB for nearly £20 a month. Looking to cut that cost as much as possible for similar amount of data.

However I could probably get away with 50/60GB a month, ideally that could be used abroad.
I'd try to use WiFi if possible though.

I had some issues activating a Lebara sim that I haven't seen on other networks costing me a morning to sort out. I activated it in an old phone and it sent settings via a text message. Installing those settings blocked all data as it appeared as an unselectable apn in the apn list. Deleting that apn resolved things.

It's also the only sim that the phone hasn't automatically added the number to the Me contact details. (edited)

Done it before with previous sims (their issues weren't porting a number).

Maybe it's partly because it's a port from Vodafone to Vodafone MVNO.

I’ve switched 3 contracts to Lebara recently, having tried them for one other contract for 12 months. I’ve had a contract since the Cellnet days and have used nearly all the networks to date. Lebara use Vodafone’s network so excellent network coverage. I’ve had no issues at all with network or customer service. I generally deal with customer service through the chat and they’ve been spot on and very helpful for all sorts of teething issues. The price I got through Uswitch/MoneySavingExpert was a no brainer - £2.95 for 6 months and £4.95 thereafter.

You can port to lebara. You phone will accept levara sim as its on the Vodafone network

I switched from virgin to Lebara, no problems at all and hassle free. I went through uSwitch as well for extra data

I managed to get the 10GB plan for 6.95 locked in so although this is a great low price for 3 months, it's quite a lot of data to lose for less than £2 discount

Normally switchy is all over these deals.

Great timing looking for a sim free deal.

I ported from 3 to Lebara yesterday. All completed ok. Was without service on either SIM for 3 hours though which is longer than other ports I’ve done but otherwise a very smooth process.

I'm still on the £6.95 a month 10gb data deal with Lebara, and I'm happy enough. Speeds not as good as using Vodafone directly, but does the job, and I've had no issues so far, so it's heat from me.

I did call to remind them of their words and then they put request of refund. Will await for it upcoming week... What a time waste.

This plan will be set to auto renew after 3 months for £5 each month but you can either discontinue or buy a different plan. (edited)

Have been with them for over a year now; very pleased. CS is mainly via chat; but so far all issue got resolved quickly.

Easy to change plans, great price for 5G + international minutes.

Only concern is if they will re-instate roaming after vodafone does

Can’t resist, just bought. Heat up please.
