Nice find but another new customer's only offer

Fantastic deal. Love Waitrose products & free coffee!
Have some heat !

Just use another email address & register again. Works with Tesco but not sure about Waitrose ?

Thanks ill give that a go

AFAIK Ocado are pretty robust at not letting the same address and name combo have a new customer discount more than once. Have read stories of full price being charged and CS not budging.

Which to be honest is fair enough if it is a one off new customer deal to bring in new business?

Good luck moving house at the same time you do this....both details are checked.

Sadly Ocado do not deliver to my area but I have checked them out before for a comparison and they are very good with most of their prices.

i was about to post this:), have some heat. i think this is worth opening a new email account for...(_;)

Nice deal!

I need to register with Ocado to check if they deliver in my area so will I still qualify as a new customer?

Are there a limited number of Smart Pass deliveries per day? I'm worried that I won't ever be able to get a free delivery slot after signing up!

I already had an Ocado account but my wife signed up to a similar deal in February when it was offered through another site - I think it was £45 for £50 of groceries and a six-month pass. Suffice to say, they check the details quite robustly and we had to go through an absolutely massive ballache to get Ocado to honour the deal.

They did eventually, give in but had they not cocked up and given us the annual 7 day pass instead of just for six months I'm not sure the deal would have warranted the fuss. Signing up as a 'new customer' is not the same as the umpteen different e-mail addresses you have with Tesco to use their new customer vouchers. Beware!

So just to clarify what the £25 gets you:

- £30 off first shop
- 12 month free deliveries (including first shop with the £30 voucher?)

So unless you plan to buy to buy on a regular basis, it's a £30 voucher + free delivery for £25?

I'm probably going to try it either way because I'm fed up of going to supermarkets, but I just want to clarify.

Can this offer be combined with the Amex offer for a purchase of £80?
i.e. can we get 2 x £25 = £50 discount and the 12 months free deliveries?

Edited by: "ukmax2k" 12th Nov 2013

Could you combine this with the AMEX voucher code?

What is the minimum spend for a delivery? Eg I usually only spend £25ish per week at tesco so would they deliver such a small shop for free still?

Worth noting:

£30 to spend at ocado.com (minimum order £40) for new customers

So minimum additional spend is £10

Even with smart pass it'll charge under £75?

I've just got a job as a delivery driver, I guess I'll see you guys soon ^^

It doesnt charge for under £75 but the minimum order is £40.
Got the midweek smartpass and never been charged for delivery even on orders of £41

2nd shop for me was 4 months later with a different email, got the £20 discount again. Just be prepared to pay the full price as what you have said is probably correct.
Ocado do have free delivery slots but they are quite random.

I doubt it both are "first shop" vouchers.

just read you have to cancel after 12 months or they charge you so just be aware x

The Bespoke offer was free and had the same 12 month Smart Pass with £20 off £60 spend?

good question.

I have a different name to my partner so will I still fall foul of their address check?

heat added, great find, a bottle of malt whiskey will do it
so £5 off a bottle + 12 month free delivery..
Thanks

This is a great deal.. i see it as £5 of my shopping if nothing else!

Is there a minimum order value for delivery after that, or can i get my bread and milk delivered each tuesday night for free for the rest of the year?

Same here. I'd just end up buying things for the sake of it to make up the order.

So what is the delivery charge on top of this?

Also i understand that the 12 month delivery saver will have to be cancelled, can this be cancelled before the 12 months is up?

They don't have much range but this offer does look good.

Order more but less often.

I had a free six month pass (anytime) and now pay £6-99 a month for my deliveries. I have between £40 - £50 delivered every Saturday lunchtime and don't have any problems with them. Obviously a midweek pass would only cover certain days but you won't pay any extra on those days as long as you spend £40+. Without a delivery pass deliveries start at 99p if you're spending over £75 and about £4-50 on deliveries between £40 and £75.
Ocado compare prices to tesco and will send a voucher if your comparable shop is more - you also get an email to tell you what you've saved.
They offer 1 hour delivery slots which they stick to well and you get an email with a pdf attached on the morning of your delivery with any substitutions or missing items and a full receipt listing the items in the order of the best before dates so you can plan your meals.
I've been very impressed and get all my meat products from there since the quality of tescos seems to have gone down.
