Pay £25 for a £30 voucher to put towards your first shop at Ocado (£40 min. spend applies) and get an Annual Midweek Smart Pass worth £69.99 – making this package worth an amazing £99.99.

I know £40 for a minimum spend is a bit much for many, but I thought this would be handy for families etc.

Dont understand it. £25 for £30 voucher but spend £40 for £69 smart voucher...?

1. Buy a £30 voucher for £25
2. Spend £40 on your shopping and pay using your voucher plus cash and you will then receive a midweek smart pass which is worth £69

Basically you get £5 off your first order (which has to be at least £40) but the main deal is getting the annual midweek smart pass for free when you place the first order (it's worth £69.99).

According to the blurb they're now cheaper than Tesco for comparable shopping too.
"Plus, Ocado’s Low Price Promise means they are now cheaper than tesco.com on comparable shopping, or they’ll give you a voucher for more than the difference."

looks good thanks op

just make sure they deliver to your area before you buy this

I am glad I checked as they dont deliver to me yet

Is the £69 midweek pass just free delivery during midweek?

Is the £69 midweek pass just free delivery during midweek?

have a guess!

It's a pass for 12 months which is pretty good. My main concern would be they don't have an equivalent to "everyday value" range as this saves me loads on basics like pasta, bread, tinned foods etc.

This isnt great....Ocado were doing a variant on this until 20 April
£20 off £80 and free mid week pass - I'm waiting for them to do it themsleves again not spending on bespoke offers.

Nobull - Mid week pass is Tue-Thurs

sorry but what is a £69 midweek pass? what does it do?

Not as many people have a use for an £80 spend though.

They do stock some Waitrose Essentials, but it does tend to be more than comparable own brand products at other shops. For some items they are pretty cheap though - I buy all my cat's litter from them as the price is better than local stores and it's a pain to carry home. Also 250g of goats cheese for £2 isn't a bad price

I love the fact Ocado take the shopping into the kitchen. With Tescos they barely managed to get it up the path, I only used Tescos once never again

You must of been unlucky then as all 3 times i've used Tesco all 3 drivers offered to bring the shopping into the kitchen for me.
Asda on the otherhand i will never use again.
I'll give Ocado a go on my next shop i think they seem to have good reviews but on this deal i'm not voting hot or cold as you get £20 or £25 of your first shop of £60 or more from Ocado anyway.

I agree, Tesco always ask me where I want the shopping.

I think there's something wrong with my Ocado account as it always shows all delivery slots as free, every day, I've not paid for a pass, so not too sure why this has happened.

You get to go to the MIR space station on every other Wednesday in June and July, plus your choice of slippers or a charming electric eel figurine

Don't forget the unlimited strawberry laces*.

*Subject to availability. May be substituted for another flavour.

I believe all account holders have been give a 3 month trial of the delivery pass. All my orders for the past month have been free.

Is this the other deal that you mentioned regarding the £80:

Existing customer. Can I use a different email address to use this? Can use different card to pay as well but delivery address will be same. Don't want to buy the voucher and not be able to use it

Voted cold as the HUKD Ocadonista can't be arsed explaining what a smart pass actually is.

I ordered Thursday 8pm and delivery was Friday 4pm for the first time. delivery was free and got a tenner off my first shop. miminmum spend £40. Oh and I got a free tea towel.

I used google. ocado.com/web…FAQ

If I have a Midweek Smart Pass, do I only save on products on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday?

No, you’ll save at least 10% on your Smart Pass products every time you shop. ‘Midweek’ simply refers to the days you won’t have to pay a delivery charge

I voted hot because of this comment! Why people can't be "arsed" to look themselves? Lazy and ungrateful. Good deal op, I use both Ocado and Waitrose for home delivery. Waitrose offers free delivery if you spend £50. Ocado offers free delivery on Wednesday if you spend £75.

Using one of the 2 current vouchers including the smartpass seems a lot better to me. 25% off instead of 12.5% and no messing about with bespoke. You just have a higher actual minimum spend of £60 instead of £35. But for the extra £25 you'd need to spend, you'd effectively be getting £40 worth of extra stuff.

Yep, min spend £80, so actually pay £60. Just trying to compare on how much you'd actually pay

Because I'm busy?

One clown took as much time explaining what it wasn't as it would have took him to explain what it was. Much lol, but not much of a community spirit imo.

Neither is voting cold without even asking the question yourself first. To be honest it's pretty obvious what the Smart Pass entails from just the top comment.

I find it hard to justify using Ocado. Their own branded stuff is a bit rubbish and I find Asda so much cheaper for branded goods. These days, I buy organic meat from a really good quality online butcher like athleat.

Makes me angry to think people like you exist. Ungrateful as hell.

Pathetic.

You called me lazy and ungrateful, not very nice, the person I referred to as a clown took the time to make a joke at another member's expense rather than help with the member's perfectly valid query. Got a few 'likes' for it too. How smug.

Think some on here need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Does it really? Are you actually angry? That's remarkable.

I'm a nice, helpful person. You need to calm down and think before you type, put things into perspective.
