I did this many moons ago to buy a Nintendo DS Lite, paid in full once the credit account was opened and didn't purchase anything else. Every 6-7 months they send me another £30 off a £60 spend voucher to tempt me back. I use the voucher, pay for the order in full on my credit card and wait. Then rinse and repeat. Still happening 14 years later

I was doing this for ages too. Used to be a mixture of £50 off £100, £30 off £60 sometimes £20 off £40

I didn’t use them for ages though and they said I had to spend with or they would cancel the account so I let it cancel.

Keep meaning to reapply and take advantage of another offer like this

Best to check the t&c's but it's usually commit to a credit account but you can normally pay it off in full straight after.
Any way to use 1 of these codes for console like xbox one x or nintendo switch?

Have any non new customers gotten anyc codes recently? I was getting a good run of £30 off £60s/£20 off £50 (my switch collection was happy ) each time I cleared my balance. But not had one for months now!

I had a very account which was closed a few months ago. Would I be eligible for this offer as I need a printer.
not a big fan of very...recently I opened an account which they accepted and ordered a Samsung tv. next morning received an e-mail informing me that after further investigation they ve decided to decline the credit account. I ve been never refused loans/credit cards so far. they even refused to give me the reasons. anyway I didn't want a credit from Very I just wanted to use their offer and pay in full.... in short never again to buy from Very

You have to commit to a credit account - but when I used the £50 off £100 code I opened an account, used the code, then logged back on and paid it off immediately and have never used it since
Cheers pre-ordered avengers for Xbox and thanos lego £67 total and then £30 off.

Maybe they have stopped it then
I used this back in Feb to grab some trainers, the pay in 3 option worked fine and no interest paid. Haven't received any other offers as an existing customer though, although did have contact by Email preference turned off... Changed that now, so we shall see.
i found this retailer hard work. i got £50 off £100 spend when i first opened an account with them so i benefited to a great deal but it was hard work getting that applied as i paid the whole purchase off at the order page with the code applied, but they took the whole value of the item from my credit card and i had to call them to ask for the overcharging back. this wasn't an easy conversation as you would expect from other retailers.

if you do use a new customer code, it is best not to pay at the payout page even if you do see the code applied and the cost of the purchase reflect the discounted price, but to let it go through the first month's statement, then pay the whole purchase off as they would have had time to apply the discount by that time.

i got £30 off £60 spend code a couple of months afterwards but i never used it as there wasn't anything of great value to buy and i would only use this retailer again if i thought it was a huge bargain.

I had this recently and I think they legally have to give you a reason unless its suspected fraud-mine was suspected fraud (as I didn't include my middle name in application)

Yes - worth checking your account in a few days as it should let you know when your first statement will be generated
Thanks OP - I've just signed up to get the £30 promo and paid my order off in full - bought 'TLOU2' and 'Ghost of Tsushima' - came to £73.97 delivered so happy with that!

Great glad it was useful
Just to help some people as I can see there are some account questions -

1. if you use the code wait for the first statement to pay it
2. if you selected the pay in 3 option at the checkout you will be charged the purchase price divided by 3 over 3 months without interest
3. SET UP A DIRECT DEBIT to pay the amount so that you don’t get caught out

Always some good deal at Very

Always some good deal at Very

I think that too, but sadly Very seem to be unpopular on here and the deals get voted cold.

I’m often quite reluctant to post. But have posted a few deals recently as they savings were good.
