Have you looked at what the price of a custom built with the same components would be?
The chip is around £950
The Graphics card is £440 each - £880 (if in stock)
The 1tb ssd is around £350
32gb Ram around £300

Do i really need this? I might give it a miss

I've just been trying to make one on pc part picker and can't get one below £2500. £2300 seems a great price but with it being a dell you'll have limited upgrade options in some areas as they use proprietary ports and connectors usually.

What games are you playing, what res and what hz is your monitor?
Code is DOALLAW30
Obviously Alienware products are overpriced, but with 30% off it is actually not bad. If you hang on until they restock you could get some decent bargains.

Btw this code is for Desktop PCs too.

dont worry, you'll find it on ebay/gumtree with a healthy markup.
No games...lol i just felt i needed power!!!
Thanks for the help guys.
Even with 30% off they're still overpriced. £2,000 for a desktop?!
It makes the alienware 13inch laptops a bargin.

Don’t they usually restock on Mondays?
Does anyone know if the Dell outlet accept PayPal
Yeah, pretty decent prices on some units with this discount. As for the quality of Outlet devices, my outlet bought XPS is still going after 7 years and faster than my wife's 3yr old laptop.
No thanks, Asus Rog is cheaper, thinner and even better
Some of the Asus Rog laptops are good and direct competitors to alienware, but all alienware laptops compare to the best in class. If you don't want to stay up late at night comparing alienware is a sure thing.
Can you stack this with a 10% new customer code?

Can you stack this with a 10% new customer code?

Yes can you ??
No because you can only apply one code the 10% if you sign up is they will send you a code and if you apply this code it removes the 30% code.

Don't worry already tried it....haha

No, you can't.
Clearly stated in new customer code's terms and conditons:
'The discount coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.'

Time is a factor so buy it right now, then spend a couple of hours researching and decide whether to keep or cancel (if you can afford to wait for a potential delay in refund).

Seems like a weird mix of parts, 1070 seems like a waste of an i9.

Plus SLI is awful in the real world.

Tempting. Really holding out for the new XPS15, but was wondering about getting a 17" monster too.
Last week I bought Alienware 15 R3 with 25% discount only Having said that my configuration is not available in the outlet anymore.
They nerfed the base AW 13 with a 1050. Seriously the Ideapad 720s posted here on Saturday has a similar base footprint but with a 15.6 inch screen and a 1050 TI. I would love an AW 13 1060 but they are ludicrously priced.
Got one around this time last year (probably similar sale).

Its got SSD/1050ti/i5/Gsync (60hz thou).

Paid about £800 and its great. The scratch and dent is a scratch which you cant even notice. Great as I travel a lot so can take it with me. Thermals are very good, rarely goes about 60-65 in gaming. I anticipate I'll have it for many years to come, great build quality. All metal barely any plastic.
If anyone is interested in a AW13 oled I’m currently selling one

Might as well just get a 1080ti rather than 1070's in SLI
Why is it when I click the deal it opens a tab and closes it...
Is it me or has the outlet been less attractive of late?
I just got my one thanks for the post cost me 1550

I bought from the Dell outlet before, laptop ground to a halt after a few months, taking 10+ mins to start up. They wouldn't have it in for a warranty repair, wanted to charge me for them to reset to factory conditions and update the software blaming my software. Only had two programmes running as it was used for work purposes, photoshop and photomechanic. Credit card company refunded me as Dell wouldn't give any assistance. I had contact with multiple people at Dell and their after service care was shocking. Lets face it a lot of their outlet stock can be a few years old, well used and has been returned for a reason.
That's a beast of a Laptop!!!

what does it mean when it comes with Solid state and SATA Hard drive, are they both in the machine ? i would've thought it was on or the other

I've had two from the Outlet and been very pleased.
My current XPS 9530 does have an outstanding issues - but it's a bit of a 'known issue' - I've had a new screen in warranty (white spots - not really noticeable, but thought I might as well) and would have had a new motherboard, but that meant re-installing windows etc; which was more hassle than it was worth for me, so stuck with the issue instead.

Overall, they still seem to be better than any other options for laptops along the lines of the XPS.
Heat added. Think this is the highest outlet discount on Alienware that I've seen.
