Sorry don't know but my opinion is that it tends to dry the potato out too quickly even reduced temperatures doesn't really do it for me

Well I have the Actifry which I'm not a huge fan of but I also had the amazing Halo and excellent Phillips - the design of which matches your Tefal. They never dried chips out. In fact previous to my air fryers i used to use a Halogen over which absolutely dried my chips out so I was sceptical the air fryers would be any better but I was wrong. I'm not sure how your reducing the temperature (i thought they were fixed) but they should be using very hot air to fry the chips. Perhaps if you add maybe an extra spoon of oil or try a different variety of chips you might end up with better results. My 'good' air fryers made even value brand chips taste good but perhaps you should try your luck with the better brand chips like McCain and see how you fair.

Aside from chips have you had better luck with other foods like battered fish, sausages, fried chicken etc?

By the way to anyone else interested, these are also available at Sainsburys at this price.
