Various deals on Boardman and some other cycle helmets at Halfords. Example Boardman Pro Bike Helmet £42 from £60 (30% off).
Being safe can cost you less. I tried a large Boardman recently and found it to be a better fit than large Bell for instance.

: ) Good stuff. I must just have a bigger noggin requiring that bit more breathing space that the more expensive Boardman helmet gives. Typical.
I think they were this price yesterday with a further 10% off via ebay.
The Boardman MTB shorts are also on sale. Ordered 3 pair for £70. Absolute bargain as ideal summer shorts with the liner padding detached. Great MTB shorts too!
I went in to store and bought this ... Boardman LC 8.6 helmet, I have a rather large head (must be all them brains ) and must say this fits perfect and doesn’t look to bulky like I thought it/they would. Only £28 from £40 too. I also bought Elite drinks bottle £2.99 from £6 was full price in store but they matched the web price. It fits perfect along with the Paron drinks bottle holder £6.99 down from £10. Good tight fit so doesn’t rattle.

As above there were various other offers/reductions to be had on clothing/cycling shoes etc.

As much as I love the value of Halford's own bikes when I actually go in-store and see the price of their accessories and spares they look to me pretty much full price and not much better than independent bike shops. Online you can make considerable savings. I'm not saying these products aren't great value but I'd certainly just want to do a quick check online to make sure there isn't a more competitive price. I've bought many products from Planet X that were considerably cheaper than elsewhere although annoyingly you do have a seperate postage charge which isn't ideal for small orders.

Worth noting not all Halfords lower online prices are the same in store but the chap had no issue price matching it. Common sense prevails.(embarrassed)
