Definitely authorised dealer, very plush shops and worth popping in for your new goodies if you can.

I've never seen these pens discounted before but Rox shop is genuine. Grab a bargain.
Printer manufacturers could learn from those guys. Make the product quality high but expensive. Then consumables dirt cheap.

You haven't tried to buy a refill for your meisterstuck ballpoint pen yet then!
£200+ for a pen. Really. l!!. I thought it abit excessive when I spent £50 on a pen. When at the end of the day a Bic would do same job. Can anyone see your using a £50 or even £200+ pen and more importantly do they think any more ( or kess) or you if your not....who cares......

I think people are entitled to like things they consider to be nice for whatever reason. There's a certain feeling I can't quite describe when I'm writing with my fountain pen. MB pens are nicely weighted, the ink flows very nicely, and it's lovely to look at as you write.

It's not just form over function, else you can argue over designer clothing brands, sports cars vs getting the bus, etc
And maybe I should use a blackberry for messaging but I guess I like my iPhone too much along with auto correct!

I go agree with you as this is a lot of money to spend on a pen. But if you have a job where you can charge your clients £100+ an hour (barrister, accountant, consultant etc), then you would look a bit cheap pulling out a 20p bic pen.
Well done - Good find...
Thank you!

The same could be said of engagement rings, nice watches, diamond jewlery, etc.
If you use a pen as much as some people use their Playstationans Xbones it's a bargain.
Great deal - just ordered the Urban Speed fountain to complete my set .... Thanks !!
Thanks

If the job is to have nice clean smooth writing on paper, then no, a Bic will not do the same job. Writing by a Montblanc looks nothing like that from a Bic.
May I also suggest the Pelikan range of fountain pens — very good results, very well respected (by pen fans, ie, not those that associate a “good” fountain pen with only Mont Blanc and nothing else) and can last a lifetime or more. Vintage Pelikans are quite sought after.
Doesn't seem to have much stock on fountain pens.
I can relate to what people are saying about the ballpoints or rollerballs as they do offer a similar writing experience but with fountain pens it's hugely rewarding to write with a well made pen.
I've a beautiful Mont Blanc which I have had for 16 years. It writes perfectly and was worth every penny I paid for it.

If my accountant was using one of these I'd know he was charging me too much, never mind thinking it!
Would love one. If you are in the market for an MB then your quids in. Can't complain it's the old Casio vs Omega debate. Voting hot.

true, plus a decent fountain pen forces you to write properly. Bic or any ball pen makes your writing lazy
If you spend 200 quid on a pen. Then you're either too rich to care, or too thick to realise your life has no meaning.
couldn't find a single pen stock....
I can't find any pens on offer. I need a cheaper Mont Blanc pen I can use, the one I have is for collection

I've tried a few times, just end up carving letters into the paper like I'm engraving it. Can left handers use fountain pens?
I've had mine since the late 80's when I worked in the City.
