This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Fairly good deal here, total comes to £38.29 including shipping and VAT
£28 excluding shipping and VAT

Their 'starting' price at £48 is INCLUDING VAT is a little inflated
as you can purchase a Pi at The PiHut for just £44 including VAT

But, it's the FINAL SHIPPED PRICE that counts for every day nonVAT registered mortals like you and I
So, comparing two suppliers.........
Pi Supply = £38.29
The PiHut = £46.99

Whether your USB-C charger works with the Pi 4 has to do with whether it uses an "e-marked" cable. E-marked cables are fully featured USB-C cables with chips inside that negotiate power management, accessory modes, data rates, and other communication specs. basically more expensive cables wont work but not the first company to do this The Nintendo Switch also has a non compliant usb c port and Nintendo has warned against using substandard cables with the device.

FYI - there is an issue with a missing resistor for the USB C charging port. It works fine with the official power supply but other usb C cables might have an issue. Maybe someone else can expand more detail to the extent of the issue

I didn't realise this, thanks.

I bought one of the 4 gb versions a few weeks back, it's running on the official psu now but I plan to power it via a mobile battery pack.

Got the 4gb version a month ago for 45 at pihut, not that good a deal this one...
Shame it's not applicable to 4gb. I'd have gone for it

Well, thank you for all the awesome deals you’ve posted....err, umm.
Build a pi-hole. It's my favourite tech hack of all time.
Any chance we'll see a deal on the 4gb?

True. Mine chugs away just fine on a Pi 3 and I hear it works on a zero. I was just advocating pi-hole for those who are new to pi.

Oh for sure no disrespect. Pi4 is on my list of things to get next to play with when I get the time but 4gb.
Good deal. I was looking for one for my son, buying on behalf of his grandparents with a budget of £60, I was going to get the Pi 4 4gb until I saw that they can overheat without cooling, and a case with cooling capabilities would take us over budget. At this price I could afford the case and official power supply within budget.

Latest firmware significantly reduces the heat outputted from the USB and processor chips
