Wanted the 245, but only grey or Berry in stock
Wish they had the forerunner 245 music on offer would have bit their hand off for that at 30% off!!

The grey and Berry are non music version. They are the only colours available for the non music.
If you are after the music version you can get the other 3 colours.

I can't make my mind up if I want the music version or not
I upgraded from a fenix 3 HR to the 245 music, was lucky and got it brand new for 164.99. I still think it was a pricing error to this day.

Lol, I didn't know that, explains why I can't find a black non music, not sure I want the grey though, I'm too tight to pay an extra £50 for music when I always have my phone
I went from a 5S to a 5X Plus and honestly, unless you're coming from a Fenix 3 (the same kind of size), you need to consider that the 5X is massive and heavy! They're clearing this out as it's now 2 generations old - still a great watch though, especially if you want proper mapping. Battery life is outstanding and makes every other smartwatch look like a toy.

Yeah i’m not convinced the tech has made a big enough leap forward for it to be worth going for the 5 Plus or the 6. The 5S, 5 and 5X are great watches

Probably right to be honest. The Plus didn’t add anything crucial to me, I just found that the 5S battery wasn’t long enough so went for a change when I had a chance on a cheap 5X Plus. The 6 doesn’t bring much new again, but doesn’t stop me wanting one!
They have pretty poor customer service though. I have vivoactove 3 music and screen cracked (not sure how as i havent dropped it), stap holder broke and bluetooth connection had constant problems (and cuurently wlnt turn on my watch). They want 120 to send me a refurb. Watch cost be 200 (with vitality discount). Not worth 200 given poor quality (decent features though but poor quality and customer service). Vitailitybisnt compatable with many smarkt watches or i would have gone with the many cheaper chinese versions (amazfit) or the mi bad which is excellent for the money if you don't need the extra but probaly unused features of the more expensive bands.

Is it still in warranty? I've had nothing but excellent service from them when I had to return a watch and 2 HR straps - one of which was a replacement they sent out.

Haha, my thoughts EXACTLY I have had a 5x for nearly 3 years, never failed me on walks/hikes/rides etc ans I love it....

and I know it nearly a grand but the 6x pro Solar and 6x Sapphire do look nice
I went from a Garmin Fenix 3 sapphire to an apple watch and boy do I miss the Fenix. Apple watch is a better "Smart watch" but fenix the better overall device. THInk I will wait for another gen or so and then switch back.
£210 for the Forerunner 645 is very tempting!
Does anyone know if JL/Amazon will price match?

Also - apologies for being lazy - but which models have offline Spotify capabilities?
Heat added
ive a 5 and love it - its a 'bargain' but do I need the minor upgrade
I’m stuck with my iwatch 4 from Vitality. Can’t wait to go back to a Garmin
I have owned the fenix 5 for over two years now - its still going strong and would highly recommend it. broadly speaking Garmin customer support have been good as well, never had any issues when I have had to get in contact with them.
Most of these ar cheaper as a vitality customer, anyone had any success with combining the reduction with the vitality discount??
I’ve got the 5 plus which is great but would never pay £600 for it
I would love the 245 with 30% off right now
I’m sick of my fitbit blaze, really didn’t want to spend all that on a garmin but it’s 🔥 hot. A wee cheeky discount code to add on top would be nice

Thats some deal I managed to get £30 off the 245 music and was happy with that. Where was this?

To those considering the 245 highly recommended I stepped away from Garmin and tried a Fossil Sport and Huawei too they just don't cut it battery wise when Primary use is sports.
I can now happily run with a Bluetooth chest strap and headphones on a 30minute at least 6+ times plus daily wearing before needing a charge where other almost needed an immediate charge.
The training plan integration, VO2 max, training load and training impact are fantastic features and cherry on the top
Garmin HR tracking is really unreliable and there customer service disinterested. As the battery degrades the HR tracking will become more and more inconsistent and all you get when you raise an issue is a load of hoops to jump through, followed by a cut and paste response.
Has anyone also tried using the vitality discount?
I have the fenix 5 plus
Awesome bit of kit
Great piece for the 5x

It was from tobydeals. No warranty no doubt but at that price it was worth the risk.

5x is my daily driver, I don't notice it at all now.

I went from a 5S to a 5X Plus so the smallest to the biggest! I have ordered a 5 Plus Titanium as a stop-gap and will wait for the 6 to trickle down but expect to end up with a 6 Pro Sapphire - the 6X Pro Solar sounds interesting but would I use the solar much? Probably not. And I don’t want basic mineral glass either really.
My husband ordered one and has received an email to confirm the purchase...seems odd, I understand security but it’s normally the credit card company that would check if a purchase was legit?! Anyway he has phoned them and confirmed but the order hasn’t moved forward yet. How is everyone getting on that ordered? Thanks
