Deal as follows

1) Buy a £30 Wholefoods voucher for £12 via Groupon using code NEW20 on a new account. Wholefoods do lots of natural food items e.g. nuts, porridge etc. Decent discount given the most you can usually expect is 10% for being a new customer at Wholefoods. This voucher is for new Wholefoods customers.

2) You have until the end of the year to use the voucher, which you apply at wholefoods checkout when doing an online shop.

3) Like any food store, there are some good prices and not so good prices and will fluctuate weekly including stock, heres an example shop I pulled together as of 29/09 using the £30 voucher which I thought was decent value:

  • Crunchy Peanut Butter 100% Nuts (Meridian 1kg) £4.52 (£1.92 with voucher)

2802235.jpg

  • Porridge Oats 25kg Bulk £19.99 (£8.50 with voucher) - good reviews and breakfast sorted for the foreseeable future

2802235.jpg

  • Chilli Nuts 500g £4.04 (£1.71 with voucher)

2802235.jpg

  • Bombay Mix (Mild) 250g £1.35 (57p with voucher)

2802235.jpg
  • 2 x Strawberry Crunch Bar (Nakd) 88p (38p with voucher)

2802235.jpg

2802235.jpg

  • The Groupon voucher does not include the postage for the Wholefoods order. In the above example which includes the 25kg of porridge, the 48 hour parcelforce delivery cost is £4.99. So you are looking at £17.75 overall net cost for the order however still decent in my opinion given if you purchased only the 25kg porridge oats from Amazon it would cost £23 including delivery and this doesn't include the various items above. Hope that's clear but any questions let me know.

I bought one but then noticed that it says for new customers only. Does anyone know if they are strict about this as I have had stuff delivered from them before. Do I need to create a new account?
I do like a bit of porridge, cheers chichi.

Not sure, this is the first time that I have ordered from them. Might be a good idea to use a new account if you are an existing Wholefoods customer.

Great company. Regularly buy the 25kg sacks of organic jumbo oats. Quidco, there’s always a 10% voucher kicking around and you get points to redeem on each order.

Weird - cant work out whats happening - but seems to add [extra?] VAT [20% tax] onto the Strawberry Crunch nak'd bars - but nothing else in my basket has tax added.

Still a great deal
Their site is so frustrating!

I cant get the free delivery to go through - I get an error message ("Invalid delivery method") with either the free 5 day delivery or the free DPD delivery - I think 3pm was their cut off time for delivery tomorrow .... so I think it might be causing me problems that its just rolled over....

I presume its worked fine for everyone else?

Voucher excludes the delivery charge - you need to pay for delivery as per OP. Originally when I bought the voucher it looked like there maybe free delivery but not the case as you get an error message and wont let you submit the order.

If this is one of the conditions, as listed above, how comes some are buying it now?

You need to buy the voucher from Groupon now as probably will only run for a few days or a week. Once you have bought the voucher you then have the rest of the year to use it at Wholefoods.

Ah ok - ty.

Should the £12.75 in the title not be changed to add on the delivery charge if its compulsory? The minimum you can spend isn't £12.75, its £17.74

I think the postage charge depends on what you order, I have got a reference in there plus postage, but will have a look in a bit. cheers
Ok - np - whatever you think best.

I get the impression that the cheapest available postage is a flat rate of £4.99 ... but havent tested it particularly much
No - I'm wrong - just changed my order and it fell to £2.99
Thanks for this OP I grabbed one immediatly.

I have been having a good rummage through the site & apart from a few things like the porridge & peanut butter which I don't need, pretty much everything seems VERY overpriced like double compared to grape tree.

Has anyone found a few good value items?
Postage is free if you spend over £30, therefore you need to spend £60 for free postage with your groupon.

Cheers for that OP.
Thanks OP
I needed to stock up on nuts- the prices on Wholefoods do seem quite pricey but with the voucher I'd say it works out around 25% less than I'd usually pay
Anyone else struggling to actually redeem their voucher after buying? Also noticed they've upped free delivery limit to £50🙄

YES! This took a while. You have to first click through to "CHECKOUT" from your basket. Then, on the right-hand side, there's a box where you enter your Groupon code. However, copying & pasting from the Groupon PDF seems to mess something up, so try entering the code manually. You may also need to create a new account first. A bit of a hassle.

Yeah it went weird with groupon things, my bad. My orders finally gone through after doing the exact same as I did before, idk if it was messing up with how many people were ordering.(embarrassed)

Same here, my order came yesterday, the porridge oats bag is a beast!

Sort of puts me off ordering as once the bag is open it will surely degrade the contents unless you put it in many sealed storage jars? Which then defeats the object of saving money by buying in bulk?
Bought from here before via amazon....great products but their website is a whole different level of awful for many reason!
Used wholefoodonline for years and I strongly recommend them, great price & range, excellent customer service and allow you to buy bulk. Plus every week they offer a free product if you order. Deliveries are not that quick but are free as long as you spend the minimum. You do can cumulate topcashback with their own cashback.
Missed it. Sold out 😑
