Can't beat a wee early morning argument! Lag in terms of a full computer normally always refers to slow processing speed resulting in hanging when loading/using programs, in the context of online gaming lag refers to internet speed or latency. If refering to internet this needs to be specified or it will be assumed to mean something else.

Trust me, you don't even want one. Look at reviews of this thing and how much it lags.
Bear in mind most of the reviews that mention lag are from when the Pixel slate was released about a year ago. Google have released software updates since that seem to have mainly sorted the lag issues. More recent reviews tend to criticise other elements, but not so much the lag!

Clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. It was the intel version that had the issues. The M3 is perfectly fine. I own it and do Graphic Design, Website Design and photo editing without any hiccups. As usual don’t believe everything you read on the internet.

This is good deal but would recommend getting the Brydge keyboard. It’s more stable and makes it a laptop on the go.

Sorry must of been lagging...
The term Lag with regard to PC gaming often refers to monitor lag but can also relate to your Internet latency.
input lag is a thing. if its not specified as input lag or internet lag then each person will provide their own private interpretation. Speak to a builder about lag or lagging see what they say.

Aside from the arguments.....anyone have this device? Thinking of replacing an iPad pro 12.9 to this....any owners?
This price at John Lewis and Currys as well. I went for John Lewis for the 2 years warranty.

Google says auto update expiry finished in Jun 2026 which is good enough for me.
heck.. this is very tempting...

Yes, I have the i5 128GB and have for some months, I managed to get an As New for £427.50 a few months ago on eBay.

I have since purchased the G-Type Brydge Keyboard and have been very happy, one thing I would say is that it's very big to use just as a tablet, but coming from an iPad Pro 12.9 you must be used to this.

Design, Build quality, Speed, Battery and Day to Day has been excellent.

Buying New and with this discount and Free Keyboard I think it's good value for money.....

For anyone buying one of these, I would recommend buying this 13" case by Incase on eBay, Bargain at £9.99!

Ahh just received a message from hotukdeals team. He deleted his comment so they deleted comments which replied to him.
Tempted, shame the Brydge G-TYPE keyboard isn't free instead, that would have clinched it for me...
The Brydge G-TYPE keyboards were £80 Direct on Amazon, but regularly can be found on eBay for £80 - £100, New, if you wanted you could sell the Free Keyboard for £80 - £100 easily then look for a G-TYPE. I'd give you £80 for New Standard Keyboard........

I'm not sure how much that is but CeX give £58 (black) or £61 (blue) cash for the Pixel Slate Keyboard, maybe that would help buy the one you want?

Sorry for the lag in replying. Yes - it's the bundle deal with the keyboard. Looks like Google have coordinated this offer with the resellers.
and yes - google warranty is two years - i'd misread on my initial google search

Thanks, are you sure that's the keyboard like Google Store as it's listed as "cover"?

Your choice of course as to where you order from (if you do), the Google One tip might be worth taking into consideration as you could put the credit towards a case in a month

It's shown as a keyboard cover with an RRP of £189 so I assume it's the official one! I get 4% off John Lewis through work so that swayed me! picking up tomorrow.
