Doesn't seem to be one of those "one cup" bags either.

Your right I have just checked my box. 240 so its heat all the way for this deal

Probably making 300 packs after the outcry of them reducing the tea in the bags

I usually stock up ehwn this offer is on, but for the past week tesco had them on offer for 2.74, so I stocksd up there instead xx

I stopped buying PG Tips when the company got greedy and reduced the 240 bags from 750g to 696g. Each tea bag now contains less tea and therefore makes a shoddy cup of tea. We now buy Tetley which is still 750g for 240 bags.

Although there's 300 tea bags in this deal, it's still a weak tea bag therefore, you'd probably need two tea bags if you're having a mug of tea. So effectively only a 150 decent mugs of tea.

I have to agree, I noticed me usual PG tasting weaker, so I wrote to PG asking why and they replied it was a new improved brew by putting in less tea! Should change the name as well to Pee Gee.

Well thet will be able to use the used teabags on thier black eyes
Just amazing really. People fighting over tea bags, when some people in this world are struggling to find there next meal.
Grow uo kiddies.

There's more tea per bag in Aldi's red label tea bags which makes for a nicer cuppa compared to the over marketed PG Tips dish water. Only £1.69 for 160 too.

Cheers for the recommendation. I've always been about the PG Tips but they've lost that bitter edge since the recipe change.

The Aldi ones don't have any perfumy-ness about them, do they? I can't stand that. Twinings Everyday have a whiff of that so they're no good to me.

Whatever happened to Kardomah tea? Was really cheap and good stuff.

No perfume smell, just good old tea smell

these pg tips state 870g per box of 300 as compared to 696g for 240 pack
