How do these compare to Hypnos
Hmm, I dont like how non specific they are with the mattress and comical marketing words;
"Utilising rich fillings such as silk, wool and cashmere" - Whatever we can find in the warehouse

"Nestled between the compressed layers of thick and fantastic natural fillings is an abundance of pocket springs" - ie too many springs? Doesn't say how many coils.

"What makes the mattress great? - Feature: be turned over regularly to prolong its life." - Ok? Im sure that's a welcomed feature. Not a stab at voiding your T&Cs if you dont do it.
All down to the spring arrangement, the more springs doesn't necessarily mean better.
More springs usually means more squeaky bed hopping
We fell for this company on a similar 'amazingly' priced deal years ago buying through Tesco. The mattress we got was poorly designed and was not fit for purpose within less than a year. It began to give me back pain waking up each morning as the springs/padding etc. simply didn't support your body in natural sleeping positions.

Mattresses are so tricky, they are genuinely one of the most important general purchases anyone can make. I'll never buy online again and hope for the best. Even when you physically test one in shops there's still no worthy guarantee that if it seems amazing initially it will remain so for any great length of time.

I rate Ikea mattresses for what it's worth. Although I've only ever had one tbf - it was great though over it's lifespan.

Not comparable. I bought from happybed before not this model thought I would say they are similar or slightly below thr average quality of Ikea mattresses.
You got what you paid for, a simple as that.

Thanks, useful info.
It's so difficult isn't it? I've been in the market for a mattress for months, but can't make a decision as you read that even those that offer free home trials just don't want to know when you try to arrange a return and miss agreed collection slots.

Try Hypnia, nothing but decent quality mattresses from them, helpful telephone customer service and they honour their warranty. All based on my experience, having bought 3 mattresses from them.
Aren't hypnos and hypnia memory foam mattresses only?
Considering there are mixed reviews for the one posted, what about this one?

£235 more for same size?

I have bought Happy Beds' Bamboo Vitality 2000 Pocket Sprung Memory and Reflex Foam Mattress in three different sizes over the years and have found them to be great quality. £305 for this one in King Size. Agree it's very difficult to buy a mattress online. The one I have is quite firm which I need- I have sciatica which tends to flare up with a soft mattress.

Its way overpriced for what it is. Also, their address leads to a PO Box. I wouldn't buy.
