Found 30th Jan
Just been on a shopping expedition to Tescos where I found these just waiting for me. Normally 200g but 50% extra chocolaty goodness.

Good luck finding one that hasn't been broken though.

I can't see anything too bad in the ingredients list for this bar (no separate listing for soy or glucose/fructose) although I was surprised to see that, in this day and age, it is 54% sugar.

I do buy Aldi milk chocolate as well but for me it's a little too dark. Saying that though their, Dairyfine Hazelnut Spirals, are lovely.
Love fruit and nut... thanks OP will check my local...

Yes I had a look at the ingredients last night and it seems to have reverted to the same ingredients used before Mondolez messed around with the recipe - which I suppose is what their glass and a half promotion is all about.

I guess they found out that the UK did not like the rubbish they were misselling as chocolate.

The ingredients are very different from similar bars but without the glass and a half branding on the packet.

True, but: HFCS and artificial sweetners DO constitute ingredients in other Cadburies brands, roses etc. It can even be found in supposidely quality brands such as Thorntons...

Cadburies dairy milk has a minimum 20% milk solids...Looking at the order of ingredients then, palm oil would have to be not far off 20% either.

Palm oil replaced cocoa butter, because it is much cheaper, thanks to Nestle. Chocolate is not the same, being mostly highly sweetened vegetable oil.

"Cocoa butter, also called theobroma oil, is a pale-yellow, edible vegetable fat extracted from the cocoa bean. It is used to make chocolate, as well as some ointments, toiletries, and pharmaceuticals.[2] Cocoa butter has a cocoa flavor and aroma.[3] Its best-known attribute is its melting point, which is just below human body temperature".

The 200g ones are still made in Britain so I assume the 300g ones are too.

The 100g bars are the ones to avoid, made in Poland I think, don't taste the same to me.

Could also be the fact that Cadbury"s sales were down 10% last year.

May have finally got the hint that us Brits don't like their favourite chocolate brand fiddled with.
