these don't have much taste and go off quickly, many already brown due to bruising when packed
One reason not to do online shopping - they definitely palm you off with lots of stuff right on their use-by date. Tesco seem to have increased the number of items with only 1-3 days freshness, but in-store you can usually find a week or more. If you want 3 loafs of bread for a week - and they all come with 2 or 3 day freshness, unless you've got room to freeze them - it makes online shopping useless.

yeah, they do this with all the stores i have noticed. when i ordered mangoes from tesco, 60% of the mangoes were so small that no one would buy them at the shop but they chose them on purpose for delivery. this is why people still prefer to go into the supermarket for fresh produce. but online shopping does have its advantages if you can't make it to the shop or can't be bothered.

Depends on your morals. Would you rather contribute to the tons of supermarket waste food that goes straight to landfill, or eat some of it?
