It was the Work zone as in the link

Been looking at getting one of these, not sure why yet but at this price it'd be rude not to. Just hope our local store has one in.

My apologies, unfortunately my phone won't always allow me to add photos. Next time I will make the effort and boot up my laptop to add photos. Happy New Year.

3yr warranty is a pain.
had to get refund into bank as once youve bought the item Aldi stores no longer deal with the item.
Need to sort out iban number for international bank transfer!

No problem if you cant do it just post asking for a member to add an image for you

Omg there are some grumpy peeps on here, you post a good deal and they just pick on it, needs a pick, what brand, warranty is a pain!
Give the man a break!
Heat from me and thanks lol

its £29 on the link

**** I only bought one of these two days ago at £30 and I was happy at that price. these are a great buy at £30 never mind £15 !! I have bought a couple of power tools from Aldi in the past and all have given great service. I normally buy Bosch our dewalt so I know what I'm talking about. The maker of the powerline tools are a company called einhell a simple Google search tells you.

where did you see the £15

I just saw the temp go down, who on earth votes cold on this sort of deal eh?!

Tradesmen? People who can't do DIY? Who knows, people just see a brand, shop, whatever and just vote cold anyway. This site you just take the bargains and move on I think now, comments are rife with arguments and opinions portrayed as facts, not to mention the one's who will defend something to the death because they have bought it already...

Good bits of kit these, got a Bosch one from the Mrs for Christmas, going to be a godsend for doing laminate floor later in the year and going to see how it copes with scoring the plasterwork to bury pipes (follow up with the SDS chisel afterwards which usually breaks off all the surrounding plaster too). At this price an absolute bargain

Which store was this in??

Nice 1 bobbler, it says it is a 28 piece set on the box, is it ideal for cutting tiles?

Not unless you buy the tile accessory pack which was a tenner when these were a weekly deal but they tend to disappear quickly as the trades buy them.

They count the individual pieces of sandpaper to get to 28

Many thanks for the reply.

thanks op

£15 and 3yr guarantee can't go wrong

I find price reductions at Aldi don't happen in all stores at the same time. My guess is that they get the go ahead for the price reduction from head office, but each store has discretion over when they apply the reduction. There are two local stores to me, and one reduces prices on specific items a couple of weeks before the other.

Good deal

Worth calling in, thanks OP

Builders in at present remodelling kitchen and are always using a tool like this _ its so useful. If you get one for this price you won't regret it. Tempted to get another as a spare!

Hot deal, but might be worth mentioning the store in the first post as it is definitely store specific. Even at full price it is good.

so this ain't national then?

Not reduced in our local ones. As said before, managers seem to have discretion about when/if they reduce the special buy items.

People will vote cold because this isn't a nationwide deal, maybe it's a discount in a specific store, maybe just some nugget posting rubbish.

Paid £30 for one of these at Argos, great tool, very useful for cutting floorboards where you have limited access.Heat added.

Can you cut metal with the cutting function? (with the right blade off course..)

I can't remember the blades that came with the Aldi one, but I have a Bosh multi-tool and the cutting blade is intended for wood and plastic. Multi tools have a forward and backwards motion, not circular (like a drill or circular saw). I have a Dremnel tool and you can cut car body metal with that, though it gets through the cutting discs very quickly - like one small hole will wear away a whole disc.

BTW have visited 3 Aldi's within Manchester two of which stock the item, but neither yet discounted..

reduced only to £24.99 (from 29.99) @ Ipswich, so not national

did get the tool anyway, and its well worth the money, pretty solid and 300 watts, 3 yr guarantee

bosch equivalent is only 190 watts, 1 yr g-tee and 3x the cost ! oO

still at 29.99 at the trentham stoke store but wanted one so coughed up-still a few left

None in Bradford... even at full price
