It's not clear if it's just a warning that you shouldn't incase you exceed your limits or whether it actually doesn't work.

Not knocking the deal, but Three are giving 100gb/unlimited/unlimited for £20/month if you ring them up and ask for it. 12 month contract, but you get more data and don't have to deal with ID Mobile

Yes but this is for people who don’t want to be tied into a 12 month contract. Don’t need it as I’m happy with three, but will be good for some. Heat added for the op.
What are people’s experience with ID? I am with 3 now on a rolling monthly 12GB/unlimited texts/300 mins contract and don’t know if it’s worth the change...

Never had an issue with them. In previous threads people complained about customer service but I’ve never needed to contact them.

They have a great app for checking allowances and as long as you have good 3 coverage they’re great.

Thanks TechSheep

Just found out the roaming countries don’t match 3 which is understandable but I am travelling to South America at the end of the year and those aren’t covered with ID, a shame as this would have been ideal.

If I don't use all my data every month for a few months, does it continue to roll over to all the following months? Or does it cancel out after like 2 or 3 months? Would be good if it builds up. Anybody know about this?

Rolls only one month at a time so if you don't use the extra after the one month you loss it

Currently in Spain which is a roaming country and using the allowance without any additional charges. Do you mean international?

Yes so 3 includes Brazil, Peru and some others but ID doesn’t cover these countries.

Could I use this in a mifi device?
Hi DaveLakin,

You wouldn’t be able to use this particular SIM within a Mifi device, however you can use one of our data only SIM that we offer.

If you do require any further assistance please contact us over Social Media and we can help you out.

Thanks

I'm on a 1.5Gb/250min/5k text at £5pm and I really like it. Good 4G and 3G+ coverage.
Good app for checking your allowances and managing settings.
Never had a problem with roaming etc, just need to know which APN to use when abroad.
Can recommend
Just left ID, was on a very good deal but they won’t allow tethering and most data just goes unused

Correct but they won't stop you or support tethering if you need help

Have you ever tried to tether and if you did did they stop you from tethering?
