Can anyone shine any light on the TopCashBack on this? Is it likely to track at £18 for a £15 30 day sim?

I managed to get TCB to payout on both my sims. It shows £15.15 on TCB's site.

It's much better than it was 6 months ago when I first signed up. It used to take me 5 or 6 days to get a response! As with most telecom cs, it depends massively on who you get - I found a way to get through to complaints and they always sorted out my issues.

CS is fine. Shame coverage around me is poor. Had to cancel mine.

That speed test says LTE is Three Mobile and at the top it's 3G - great speed for 3G! 😁

Edit: I mixed up Smarty and Voxi (thought it should have been Voda)

Got this although great value for 30gb £10 month network is terrible
Smart use three network
Switched from EE to smarty but my speeds dropped to under 10 mbs from average of 30 with EE so went back. Good prices though.

My plan is to buy this at end of the month when broadband runs out to use instead of a broadband router on umlimited ... just to run laptop and nowtv... is this realistic or am i dreaming ? It's just a stop gap till I move house and get new BBI

Try out the signal strength first.

If you get one of their sim's and the signal is shocking, just contact their cs dept and explain and they'll cancel the sim and refund you.

I set up a hotspot on an old 4G phone with a Smarty unlimited sim to see how Three worked for home BB and then bought a 4G router once I was happy enough.

I tried it with my current sim which is Plusnet and it was totally fine... but I think they use EE I should imagine if Smarty use 3 it would be the same if not better .
Offers been around for a while and think it’s on for another month, got cash back tracked at TCB last month at £30 for the £10 sim, it changes all the time.

I did the same and the speeds were intermittent, top speed of 30mbs and worst at 1mbs. Was fine for surfing the net but crap for streaming. Maybe your area with be different. The coverage was great though, just the speeds were too slow. I eventually signed up to virgin Media broadband but was glad i gave it a go for two months, especially as it only cost me £3 with cashback and the free month you get when a friend refers you.

It definitely varies. I was on tesco mobile - EE, and had one bar downstairs or no signal. With 3 - smarty, I have no signal everywhere in the house, which is killing me.

Three provide the network I think. Not great in my area

Great customer service. It's open 8am to 8pm, live chat and email only, but the customer service advisors are very helpful and friendly and make sure your issues are resolved

Not even another month. It's a permanent offer.
If you already have Three, keep in mind that the following doesn't work on Smarty:
No "4G Super-Voice" (VoLTE) which means no using the 800MHz 4G band.
No Wi-Fi calling.

If your signal on Three relies on those being available to use then this might not be the best deal.
(a good way to check this is by using Three signal checker, putting in your phone model and seeing if you only get coverage with "4G super-voice" checkmarked)

Surprisingly good! Been with them for a few months now. Network not as strong as Vodafone where I live, but its soooooo much cheaper. Very happy!

I found customer service to be very good but as it is web chat based it wont please everyone.

It is a mixture of instant messaging and email, if they have an assistant available you get an instant response, if not you get a response later in your email inbox. The communication takes the format of a WhatsApp style message, i.e. an ongoing back and forth between you and one customer service assistant (or so it seems).

I ended up leaving smarty because of poor 4g reception (Bristol), I had no issues setting up and cancelling. Customer service we're helpfull when porting my number from Voxi.
Amazing

Get a sim and test it as it’s run on Three network, plusnet is EE. We’ve got unlimited smarty sim and use it mostly in a tablet for streaming rubbish on YouTube/now tv for kids when travelling etc. Had no problems got cash back and mines even cheaper at £18.75 lifetime unlimited

I never let reviews put me off. I'd rather experience something for myself rather than decide based on what reviews say. I personally get great customer service with SMARTY. They've given me credit for when I said I "forgot" to use my friend's link when I signed up, sorted out a text issue I had very quickly, they're available on live chat 8am-8pm.
