generally found that very cheap wireless doorbells don't work reliably, especially over longer distances. I ended up purchasing friedland systems which cost quite a bit more, but work from the very front of my property to the very back

brought the model yesterday with the plug and mobile unit... going back tomorrow. Second Byron bell I'm returning to Argos in 6 months.

I like Knock, Knock instead.

Nice deal but don't understand "you can use a doorbell without having to worry about taking up a plug socket." When it is plugged in to a plug socket.

because it has passthrough as in you dont waste a socket

Can anyone recommend a wireless doorbell with three individual ringer units to spread around the house. Have seen two sometimes but never three and never sure if you can add ringers.

FRIEDLAND LIBRA+
i bought 3 wireless door chimes (you can run them on mains or batteries - handy if you are down the end of the garden and can't hear someone at the front door), and 2 push buttons (1 on front door, 1 on side gate)....not bargain basement but works 100% of the time

These are only £5.99 in B & M Bargains, bought one last weekend.

call me a traditionalist but I do like my knockers!

I had 1 too but not for long.....before it broke

I once bought a cheap one about a fiver I think and it lasted ask if one week before it blew the main switch! went back to my trusty old wired bell. only reason I bought it was because the flat down stairs never opened their door for their own guests and his guests expected me to come down at 10pm to let them in, and then get annoyed when I wouldn't open the communal door! ended up fitting a switch between the bell and ringer bit.

I've had this for about 10 weeks and no issues whatsoever. Works really well.

Pah, I've got a six mile driveway to my mansion. Plus my butler does all the answering.

It looks great, will give it a try

I would reccomend a clicker doorbell rather than a button, the buttons seem to wear away quicker!

The reason it says that is because you can still use that socket for another device because this has a socket built in.

Three units so you can hear it everywhere? Just send your butler to buy one, it shouldn't be your problem.

A quick google will find loads. Are you new to computers?

Have a plug in one from either home Bargains of B&M Bargains which I'm pretty sure are £6.99 and it has worked faultlessly for over 2 years so far so not sure why this is hot

I think "recommend" was the important bit.
HDUK is a lot more trustworthy than a Google search.
