£30off £300 spend at Currys with O2 priority moments - good for iPad/tablets

handy all round but a little bit better than their current £20 off tablets offer if you're paying over £300 plus gives you the advantage of picking up from store.

Very Good but no iPhones unfortunately according to the T & Cs

You can also buy PCWorld/Currys gift vouchers from Morrisons to pay for your purchase as well as using the O2 code. Morrisons give you a voucher for 1p off per litre of fuel per £10 spend on gift cards so for a £300 spend on vouchers you would save another £18 on a 60 litre tank of fuel (30p per litre). Just make sure you do a reserve & collect or you'll end up saddled with a lot of gift vouchers if it's out of stock!

Yesterday (3/11) I used the £50 off £500 Currys/PCWorld offer from O2 (previous post) to buy a iPhone 6 64GB Gold.
The code was issued for use at Redditch but the stoe is now closed down.
The staff at Shirley, Solihull tried the code and it worked AND the phone was in stock.
Heat added.

so stores will accept the codes, never used these before, but £30 off dslr will be good plus cashback terms from canon.

Yeah I picked up a Macbook Pro, £1299 with £100 off for spending over £100 with them. Also picked up the balance in gift vouchers via Perkz at 6% discount.

The O2 priority codes are for instore use only not for ordering online on currys/pcw websites.

100%. Used the O2 thing for the first time a couple of weeks ago to pick up a Macbook. £100 off for £1000 spend. Got the base 13 inch model for 900 - bought a cheap DVI adapter for £4.99 to push me over the £1000 limit

No 'of course' about it. I clearly stated the code was for use at Redditch followed by the address.

does anybody know if it would work with this ipad offer: currys.co.uk/gbu…tml as it says something about not valid with other offers...

Shame - I bought something the other day (unopened). Will they take it back and let me buy it again with voucher?!

Two things that might help people:

1.
One of the managers in my local store said they can do what's known as a "buy back re-sale", where you order and pay for something online for store delivery, which - when you go to collect - they then refund you the price you paid online and re-sell to you with any store-only vouchers. Personally, I would not rely on this as you might get an awkward person on the till or an uncooperative manager.

2.
You cannot stack the O2 Priority offers with the £20-off offer that Currys / PC World are currently running. I tried to use the "£10 off £100" one over the weekend, and the guy said he could only offer £10 off through O2 or £20 off in store, so he took £20 off the iPad price.

Hope this helps someone.

If this is within 7 days then I would guess you should be ok. But I would suggest to buy with voucher another day, just incase

I would say 'probably', but - for God's sake! - don't open the packaging. I once had a miserable time trying to get a refund on a tablet which clearly had a design problem, but they refused as I had opened the packaging. (How I was supposed to know about the connectivity problems without opening the box, I'll never know). For a quiet life, I took a gift-card, but - if you're happy with the tablet - you might want to save yourself a few hours. I guess you were happy with the original price you paid - sometimes on HUKD, we need to learn how to move on.

Good luck.

could you buy the gift card using a Lloyds bank debit card currently offering 10% cash back at Morrison's and get 10% off as well as the fuel offer and use priority moments in store?

Yes as long as it's over £300.

£10 off £100 or more or £30 of £300 or more.

Priority moments is always worth checking out. Quite often good offers on there.

that's a brilliant idea for the Morrison's voucher. I need petrol as well.

can you buy gift cards with gift cards? Could be onto something there.

An important point about buying Apple products. In the EU the retailer must provide 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects. If something goes wrong with your iPhone in the second year, apple can, and sometimes do tell you to go back to the retailer with it. Currys will then make you prove the fault existed at the time of sale by getting a costly third party report (almost impossible).

If you buy from Apple directly they will normally just replace/repair for free.

can we buy stuff instore and have it delivered home free if that item is eligible for free delivery (e.g, fridge, washing machine etc.) on online orders?

they haven't got a 32gb iPad air in stock within 30 miles. I'm sure Apple have recalled all the air 1s 32g and above to push sales of the air 2.

Hi all, I posted a deal on a washing machine from currys and was wondering if that qualifies for this? and will delivery still be free on the washing machine as presumably the O2 priority has to be used instore.

Yes the voucher should work if you use order and collect in-store and the pay there, not sure how the delivery would work though.

Thanks for the reply I have a feeling the free delivery won't be included this way, which would be an issue as not everybody can/wants to collect a washing machine.

The 2 codes are both the same type so can't be stacked unfortunately!

More than likely, just explain the situation. I have done it for customers who had no choice but to buy online or their gift cards hadn't been activated yet.

Curry's do have the world worst customer service

Has anyone got an o2 code they don't need? Was burgled last month and the insurers gave me Currys vouchers to replace goods so am forced to buy instore and only from Currys or PC World. Would particularly benefit from a £50 off £500 spend voucher (TV was taken). Please PM me if you can help.

Do O2 change codes regularly? What are current offers? Thanks

Is that correct ?

I'm trying to see what stores are near me for the £30 off £300 & it doesn't come up with my local megastore when I get the code allocated, I have to choose a store 13 miles away.

Well I've not seen anything in the t&c saying the code is store specific, try using the code at your local store and see what happens.
