For all the cold voters, This is a 30w fitting i know the 10w ones are cheaper, but i found they were not bright enough for my drive.

Same item on amazon for £18.05 but delivery is 3-5 days unless you have prime.

Good price, voting hot but the cool white is a very harsh bulb. Warm white has more yellow and is nicer.

I think he meant £18.05?

You definently need 'warm white' for LED lighting, even outdoors.

Do you know how easy it would be to hook this up to a PIR?

Thanks

Very easy to use with a PIR the same as any other light fitting.

A 30w LED won't give off more light than a 300w halogen. A 300w halogen will produce around 5500 lumens, whereas a 30w LED will typically produce around 2500 lumens. An LED fitting only saves 80% of energy compared to an equivalent halogen. I looked into it all when I replaced my 500w halogen floodlight at the rear of the house with a 100w (2x50w) LED light. They give off an equivalent amount of light. It works perfectly well off a PIR.
