Looked at the specs and doesn't say the voltage, I presume it's 240V and not 12V.
Are these bright enough for the back garden and at front door??
Sweet i got a 10w at the mo not bright enough this will do nicely.

No, These come with a length of cable already pre-wired to the light - you need to disconnect the wires to your old unit - buy a waterproof junction box and site it near to the light and then connect the two cables in the junction box - that is presuming the existing light is ouitside and the cables to it are not coming straight out of the wall, in which case you could feed the cable from the led light inside and connect them there.
I'm surprised these are IP65 for the price, heat added and ordered, thanks op

Bit gutted, never purchased from them and no PayPal. So they want me to put my card details in an unsecure site!

Ta op ordered
I have 3 that look identical to this, though the manufacturer name is different. They seem to be sensitive to wind and are on and off all night like a disco, regardless of any adjustments made to the settings.
Awesome price. Thanks OP, ordered 2.
Just ordered a couple too. Thanks.
Anyone know the width?

If this is twice as bright as the 15w one I have then it'll be overkill unless it's mounted on the second floor looking down. Good deal but it does make me a little concerned about whether it has enough heat dissipation to have a long lifetime. Setting a short stay-on time should prevent that being an issue though.
Good price ordered one. I have bought from Farnell before with no problems good reliable British company.

They've been going for years, I used their trade counter in Leeds in the 80s and 90s. Never had a problem with any order since the internet took over.
Very good price for an IP65 rated 30w PIR floodlight. Have to see if bigclive.com will do a tear down and check it out !
I currently have a 10W PIR LED light. It's got decent brightness close to the light but further away (towards the end of the garden) it's a bit dim. Will this extend the range or just light closer to the house even more?
Anyone know if these have an override?
My current light I can turn off and on twice and then it will remain on and ignore the PIR.

Good job they do not use much electricity then.
Ordered one on back order with stock expected end of the month.

Yes but these will be manufactured in the far east, as they all are IFAIK. They are very cheap so... who knows how long they will last
I've just had a cancellation email saying the item is no longer stocked

CPC stock control is well known to be unreliable and unable to cope with bigger demands that HUKD can place on their site. Apparently the stock levels only go down once an order is processed and payment approved... so if they have 50 in stock and 100 people add to basket, the stock still shows as 50, when 50 of the orders get processed and payment approved then the stock level goes down, so 50 people who may have also got their order processed, but after the first 50, suddenly find no stock available.

I also see the checknow website seems unable to find cheaper prices on CPC so assume CPC have finally blocked that handy site from accessing better prices.
Just bought 4

UPDATE - like others - cancelled pretty much immediately. What a joke.

CPC shows as an HTTPS secure site once I add to basket and start the checkout process.. I've spent nearly £1000 with them in last year and had no issues.
I was looking for a decent PIR Floodlight when I found this on the CPC site earlier this week. The listing didn't have a picture when I ordered so I was making the purchase simply on the basis of the info & the great price. The item arrived very quickly via UPS and was received today - I am extremely pleased with it - it is great value for money. Over 200 were in stock when I posted the deal so hopefully there will be 200 happy customers early next week.

Not sure I will let you know when I fit it tomorrow.

Update: yes there is an override - on off on and then it stays on for the duration previously set.

There are massive heat sink fins on the rear - one of the most prominent features. I really think heat dissipation will not be a problem tbh.

Yes that should be fine - the unit is supplied with a wire pre installed in the rear but the back panel can be removed via the 4 screws pictured and you can fit your existing cable instead.
