Are these good enough to replace the normal 500W halogen flood light?

A 50w led is more like it.
This is a 50w in a 10x20m space at a 3.5m height.

Have a browse the led light bulbs are cheap as are loads of other things extension leads etc etc
Checked £6.47... Great price .. I have got a few of these .. they are very good .. very bright white light .
One has been out in the rain for a year now and no problems .. would recommend
It has a short mains cable , but cpc sells very cheap In-Line Connector Box. less than a pound.

That's more than enough to connect it to a weatherproof junction box.

Yes you cant get it for the quoted price you have to spend more, you know you are meant to add postage to deals, so either change it to £9.60 or £10.67

Aplogies there seems to be a click and collect option, unsure if this is free ?

They won't be anywhere near bright as 500 watts helogen but more than adequate. Go for 50 watts and that should be plenty. Remember they 6000k so look brighter than helogen

Am in the same boat for quite a few 400w metal hydride units. At this wattage, you're looking at 25k to 35k lumens so quite a way off. I'm looking at 100w led units.
Compared to halogen this is blue/white cold colour 6000k is cool for cars but not house a 5000k is more pleasant and i would like to get rid of mine 6000k...
Good price thanks op
Good price just add a few cheap bits to get free post, or buy 2 ?

Roughly for r7s style lighting, you're currently looking at the halogen wattage divided by seven to get a similar illumination from LEDs.
Will these be suitable for studio lighting for making videos? That's a smashing price compared to dedicated video lights!!!

Metal halide?

6000k (colour) would be for whatever you are growing & 3000k would assist it in flower.

30k lumens is roughly 20 H7 car headlights.

You're not going to get the same effect as studio lights as this is a very harsh colour temperature (blue end of the spectrum) compared to studio lights.

Heat. Any decent ones with a sensor available? I could see anything myself. Appreciate the help.

wooow! it delivers 6000K of light. that is over twice as much as my 2700K LED!

That's only a reference to the colour of the light that is projected.
2700k is a very yellow/orange glow.
6000k is very white/blue.

Might be easier/safer to replace the cable supplied. Often it's poor quality and not to requirements AND in the past I've seen that the earth wire often isn't connected up on this type of lamp (although the ones I've bought have had them connected).

If it's like the 50W version, then the short cable cord6 in to the housing without any way of opening it up.
"This 30W slimline LED floodlight delivers 30W of power and 6000K of light."

None of this is right. It uses 30w of power. It delivers 2400 lumens of light, which is the amount of light. To compare which lights are brighter than others, it's lumens you need to compare. The light is delivered at the colour temperature of 6000k. Pure white light is about 5500k, so 6000k will have a faint blue tinge to it. Colour temperature is the perceived colour of the light and does not indicate the brightness.
