no freeview and yes it can do 1080i. I have the older version of this, its very good for the money!

ihave this exact Tv, gr8 tv for the price, but picture qualiy is worse than my last tv, but wat do you expect for the price.

wots the diff btw PoP and PiP?

what HDMI will it use?

finally wots the contrast ratio?

HD ready means it can do 1080i, 720i, 720p and everyhing below that - tho it may be upscaled badly so look rubbish

Maybe, but the review is still for a Hannspree Xv with pretty much identical spec.

been reading up on avforums, seems to be a lot better than the old one. I think it's a great price for a second / bedroom set.

A lot of people that pay peanuts for these budget TV's seem to declare how happy they are with them. I can't help wondering whether there's a slight case of being determined to like them and saving face.

All I know is that when I go into TV showrooms there's a striking difference between the cheapo ones and the premium brands and professional reviews seem to reflect that too.

Lol, are you sure a 32" TV is the ideal size for a PC monitor? You'd be looking all over the place like you were in the front row at the cinema.:-D

wireless mouse/ keyboard  sit on the bed a few feet away propped up, lazy surfing :-D will still have my normal monitor for working at the desk.

I'm tempted to get this for my bedroom actually, the signal is already pretty naff in here anyway (not got Sky in here yet, argh!) and I want an LCD purely for cosmetic reasons (my CRT looks naff) so this one doesn't look too bad a proposition! ;o

U see my original idea was to pick up a 20" Aoc one, then i was tempted to pay a bit extra for the 22" Lg ones and now im considering the extra £50 for 32 " my god i need to stop myself!

Works both ways I suppose because when I go into Electrical Showrooms I sometimes wonder why somebody would pay double the price for a branded LCD that quite frankly doesn't look any better than the "cheapie" brands and on most occasions looks quite a bit worse, although of course a lot of these showrooms don't exactly show their product in its best setup.
If I had an Xbox 360 this TV would be my first port of call as it does look pretty impressive, but will stick to my trusty CRT until the 360 urge finally gets the better of me.

Pop displays two different sources side by side it splits the screen in half

so you could have for example something from hdmi on one side of the screen and something from the standard tv signal on the other side

Pip allows you to watch two seperate things as well however it puts the second image in a small window that you can move around the screen

The same here, although I am tempted to get a new Sky HD box as there is quite a lot on Sky HD now. Enough to possibly justify getting an HDTV to replace a CRT.

Ordered one of these yesterday and they've not got back to me and told me that delivery will be on July 2nd! Thats 2 and a half weeks wait for delivery. Useless *******s..

Tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine.

on the features box is says TV Tuner 1x analogue/digital combo
are people sure it is only analogue and does not have freeview?

i've ordered one and hope to ******y it is freeview since the description of the tuner on the website says its a digital tuner!

ATSC tuner = Digital/Analog combo?

what happened to the one for £249.99 at misco.??????

That was refurbished and there wasn't many in stock.

This looks like the older E1 model, the newer and much better E2 is available for cheaper at Ebuyer (ignore the incorrect specs on ebuyer, check Hanspree www for correct 1200.1 / 2 x HDMI, etc).

Spec and image show his is a different model, a YT-32E1, slightly better than the JT01-32E1 listed here, but not as good the new JT01-32E2 available from Ebuyer or Intekx.

Was the "48hr delivery" stated prior to ordering?

If so, then you entered into a contract for the goods to be supplied within the quoted duration.

Now the contract to supply has been broken you are entitled to a full refund.

Ring/write to them (again) & ask to speak to a Manager as you wish to quote their name to your local trading standards office.

That may get a result (either a delivered item, or a refund).

Good luck.

BFN,

fp.

now it has said since it was listed that only available on a four and seven day delivery..... must say this for a reason....
