"So please don’t stockpile" Goes and posts a deal for 32 kitchen rolls
Anyone posting deals like this should be ashamed of themselves, as should this site for hosting them.
Don’t use these as bog roll, it blocks the sewers. Then you’ll have two things to worry about (as well as the rest of your street!)

Why?

is it same as these?Paid £20.88 for 36 two weeks ago.

These are only 51 sheets of 2 ply per roll Vs 100 sheets of 3 ply per roll with the deal you got.
Not worth it. Premium large rolls are no more than £1 per roll & double the size.

Pathetic.
Stockpiling..... The very definition of wastefulness.

Just change your habits and a little goes a very long way.

Kitchen towels why people would stockpile them?

If you had cats you would know why. They are constantly puking up mice heads, fur balls & grass.

Amazon's prices are going up on some items. If you CamelCamelCamel "essential" items (the ones people are going ga-ga for, eg, pasta, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, tins) most have a CCC date stamp of a few days ago - you can't track price changes.

I paid £1.98 for a 500g pack of pasta from Amazon a few days ago on backorder (CamelCamelCamel has a very short price history of a few days for this too) when I usually get 2 x 500g packs from Morrisons for £1 or pound shops.

They're not exactly extortionate prices, but these Presto! rolls have went up too. I know they're under pressure with deliveries and a surge in orders*, but, this is not a great time to stock up. This price (nearly double!) is pretty bad, disappointing, even, when some are in desperate situations.

*It took me around two hours to get on Live Chat earlier, never known Amazon this busy, ever. I gave up (and forgot to close the chat window - eventually got a response!) and used the Call Me option - I was on hold for 10 minutes online, then when the call connected, on hold another 15 minutes.

Try Keepa to track Amazon price changes.

That looks more comprehensive, thanks. My search for pasta continues (the long delivery date gives me time to try and find it in the shops, if I can still go out in the next few days )

Good luck.

I have an Asda 60m from my house and they usually have pasta on sale at opening time.
Amazon hiking prices during a pandemic disgraceful.

I hope when this is all over, everyone remembers which retailers helped the British people and which profited from the disaster. I for one will have a long memory (and an empty wallet)

Over £1 per roll and this is a deal?

Why aren’t the mods blocking these deals? It is just encouraging people.
I very rarely vote Cold but on this, just couldn't help myself.
Wrong type of rolls apparently.
Thanks bought for eBay

More importantly remember where it came from and covered it up allowing it to spread!!!

Kitchen towels why people would stockpile them?

With bog roll in seemingly short supply kitchen roll isn't hard to get hold of i saw people in Morrisons buying their six pack of kitchen rolls, i think people are buying them to use in lieu of bog roll problem is they don't break down like bog roll and can block drains anyone wanting to use kitchen roll in the bathroom should dispose of it in the bin
