For those upgrading to the S8, this to me seems a very good price for a cash trade-in, beats Cex by some £80.
Same price instore or online.
This is for a Grade A S7 Edge.

How are they on grading? Will they find a hairline scuff and grade it C sort of thing?

What's the ballpark/cheapest handset price for an S8 nowadays?
do they only trade in certain phones?
I was told that the only way you could trade in an "A" grade phone was if it was brand new. I asked about trading in a 2 week old iPhone immaculate condition and was only offered grade B
were do get the prices online, when you click on time to upgrade, best price on Samsung phones, it just takes you to the t&c

Will report back on what they offer on mine, it's a year old, but immaculate condition, boxed with all accessories.
£270 for a B grade, if i'm offered that i'll pass. As i think £300/£320 is what i could get from a private sale via gumtree or facebook selling pages.

Get Deal Link should take you to a form, fill it in, and click 'get value'.

found it, only works in desktop view on mobile.
GAME pretty much never give an A grade. It's probably why they offer so much over CEX, just a ploy to get you to take it in store and hopefully accept their B/C price.
They give you a better price than most online places like Mazuma and CEX...can only be an A grade if you have the original box and immaculate. Traded in my iPad yesterday. They also won't need the charger plug just the cable

Their grading system is a total rip off.

Ok, so voted COLD on my own post.
Went in to Game in Cowley and was told as the seal on the box was broken it's a B grade.
Sold mine privately for the same amount.

game go against their own trade description, they tell you that it has to be sealed when on the website it doesn't mention anything like that

well they've lost my custom, though makes you wonder what would happen if you went in to buy an A grade phone and asked to take a look at it first? Would that then mean they would have to sell it as a B grade?
I've traded a lot in at Game and no-one here has any chance of getting an A grade if they've used it - A grade is for literally brand new items with the screen protector still in place. I think people are getting confused with Cex, where A grade is basically 'used, like new'.

Don't waste your time with this - there is a reason why the B grade is so much lower, and it's because B is the price you're going to get.
