No idea who that guy is, but it's hardly a fantastic design - it's a shiny black box with a blue light!

Still, no reason to vote it cold, however I got a 500Gb HDD for only about £10 more, so take it as you will.

That said, if you run the drive for a few minutes itll be HOT Lacies are horrific for overheating!!

I've had my 500Gb Lacie HDD for about 8 months now and it's never broken on me. Hell, it's not even in a well ventilated area.

...that's voted cold.... spend a few pounds more and get 500 gig!
the 3.5" WD book works well for me which I got for £50.
