I never find baking trays live up to their claims of long life but at 50p a throw I wouldn't be too worried here. Also nice that no click and collect minimum at Dunelm.

From website, "Oven safe up to 230° this oven tray has been coated with Skandia Extreme non-stick coating for excellent food release and it has been coil coated to guarantee a long lasting performance. Dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning this oven tray has been made with 0.3 Gauge ECCS steel for a robust body."

Save your 50p and buy a heavier, sturdier type.
I've never found one which keeps its non stick cheap or expensive.

Non stick are unhealthy anyway, all that non stick that isn't kept is going into your food.
As far as I’m aware, PTFE, which is what non stick is made from, is completely inert. Indeed, that’s what makes it non stick. It doesn’t react with the food and it goes straight through your gut, if you ingest a tiny bit, without being digested at all.

What concerns me more is that these cheap trays don’t last very well, and they end up in landfill. They are so cheap that they are barely worth washing, and the coating comes off if you scrub them.
Steel is very recyclable. Take them to your local waste recycling centre (not kerb side) and there will be a metals skip.

Second that glorified foil tray is in any heat it'll twist up like a mobius strip

Lazy man's tip -

Line it with some grease proof paper. Nothing sticks to that and if it doesn't release too much oil, remove the paper and you can get away without cleaning the tray

That's too much effort, dishwasher is best.

yeah, but it doesn't stick
My parents had literally 1 of these for about 20 years. 2010+ people just cant wash anything properly and will rather buy 5 in a year and have them land filled. Shame on you. Greta would give you electric chair.
Should just get a proper aluminium catering one for £6-7.

Sounds like they handwashed it. These last less than a year in the dishwasher, so make sure to buy lots!

Don't tell Greta cheese.

Let's start a petition so that these are recyclable in the future.
These are recycled if we take them to the recycling centre, but we’re not allowed to put them in the recycling bins at home. Obviously, a special car trip to the recycling centre, is not exactly green.
