32GB Samsung Evo - Class 10 48MB/s Micro SD Card £5.65 @ Gearbest

Samsung 32GB Micro SD for £5.65 delivered. Thought it might be useful for anyone already ordering some items from them. I tend to stick to UK sellers for memory cards, but it does seem pretty cheap.

Last thing I ordered from them was a 4k action cam for a friend. Arrived in around 10 days and that was dispatched from China. But I wouldn't order anything I was needing urgently or by a specific date.
Would a 3ds (old with adapter) use this? I believe I heard it will only go up to 32gb

Can't see why it wouldn't work.
So, its' not a fake?
That's what I was thinking

Too much risk, better stick to sellers which are known for selling genuine memory stuff... I wouldn't say this card is in even orange colour on gearbest site:)
Risky
It looks like another 'Banggood' site, probably is legit, would just take about 3 weeks to get to you.

Or never. Google reviews of Gearbest but not Trustpilot (well known for fake reviews).
buy from a UK seller at least. selling ourselves out to foreign company's now. Every 3rd post now seems to be this company.
Risky not voting hot or cold

It probably wouldn't.
If you want to risk it then pay by PP and do what I did and raise a claim after waiting for two months, ignore their emails asking you to cancel the PP process and just wait for the dispute to settle in your favour for a refund, after PP confirmed that the tracking number they provided was not valid.

Buy with caution or better still do not buy from them at all.

Sorry OP but cold from me.
Sad times when Gearbest deals appear here and people are not aware of how problematic this company is when ordering.

You can tell by the image at GearBest that it's fake.

Exactly !
I posted two deals last night from Gearbest and had them removed and warned not to 'troll'. I thought it was ok to post everything off a Chinese website on HotUKdeals?
still waiting for items from gearbest as well. they ignore emails for weeks
Fake, and you'll have no comeback. Why isn't this merchant banned yet?!

How can you tell from the picture it's fake? I have the genuine product and the finish is grainy and low-res just like the image, I don't think that's a fair assumption unless you've had the item from Gearbest yourself and seen first-hand.
thats so cheap. ....enough to make me this its poss not real?.
Still waiting for the memory card I ordered from Gearbest in September to arrive.

Yep, it raises a lot of questions - suddenly a few chinese shops became fine for posting here.. same with aliexpress
Cold.

No chance whatsoever this is going to be genuine.

Good luck to those that give it a go then
I can honestly say that over the past year every single thing I’ve ordered from China and eventually turned up has ranged from a disappointment to a total and outright fraud. The latest turned up yesterday and it was purported to be a 1280x720 HD-SDI camera from the lying thieves “qualityzoneonline” in Shenzhen, China. They will insist it is a problem with my cables. The block camera itself is fairly heavy and therefore will cost more to send back than the unit cost. I screwed a video lens onto it and plugged power in and hooked it up to my Blackmagic H.264 Pro Recorder and saw the input was not 720p but 480, and that there was no video output, simply a banded black and green raster occupying part of the frame — no video is sent. They are just all liars and thieves, those Chinese traders. All of them. All those cheap Chinese online shops are simply liars and thieves. I will refuse to buy anything direct from China from now on. It’s never a satisfactory experience, and always money wasted.

They didn't even bother to post right image of genuine card on their website...
PS. Are you 100% sure that have genuine card ?:)

Everything comes from China, we just pay more for some quality control!
Samstung is what you will be if you buy this. Pay more and get something genuine and less fishy.
Voted cold since it's definetely a fake.
Ordered an IP camera from them, they used Yodel and the parcel was inevitably lost. Now they will only repay 40%. Moral of the story, pay for insurance and be prepared for a lost parcel. Yodel even had the gaul to say the parcel was delivered, even though I was abroad.

Did you order something to be delivered in a few days while abroad?
how do you know they are fakes? different markets can have slightly different cards
plenty of pics are photoshopped etc so dont really look like they do in real life anyway so on that basis youd expect fakes from many places
that said i probably wouldnt get it seeing as they are under a tenner from uk fairly regularly and you'd get it much faster

iirc there was a thread years ago with people crying about cards and it was shown that the cards were different on the official taiwanese arm of the site etc

Just use PayPal and you'll be covered.
Could do with a deal being posted for this memory card from a reputable seller ( the proper Samsung cards are very good)

Yes, because mine came from MyMemory and I validated the serial number with Samsung just to be on the safe side.

I ordered two of these, total 17.16 USD, but was charged 23.1 USD on Paypal. Have reported this to Paypal and complained to Gearbest
