Also available for £33.24 from Scan, if you qualify for free delivery. personally, I'm just a bit hesitant about an 'unknown' brand - can't find any reviews.

Ive seen one good and one bad review for the 8gb cards from Storage Options.
The bad saying the same faults i had from an eBay 32gb from Ireland (a feller with a Polish name) maybe 4gb of the card is recordable OK the rest is corrupt and errors. I notice the review says similar.
I'll wait for a PNY, Tosh, Kingston or San Disk 32gb before I risk wasting my money again. OK it's not from some Irish wide boy off eBay but I'll wait.

heres one

Which leads me on to the Storage Options 16GB card. Not having heard of the company before I was sceptical at first. After testing this out on a Fuju camera and a friends new Video Camera (a Sony handheld HD one) my fears were proved unfounded. The card was fast enough to cope with both sports images and HD video and the space afforded by the 16GB memory allowed me to take far more video than I first thought it would.

Playing the video back on the PC gave be a smooth picture (jerky pictures are often the first sign of trouble with slower read and write speeds on a card) so no problems there.

Sorry, should have posted link with my previous comment.

Hot for me just ordered one

Slightly fishy that this is so much cheaper than the competition, never even seen a 32GB class 10?

Scan should put it right if not though as Class 10 guarantees read/write of 10 MB sec..

Theres one.
My guess is that after keeping the price artificially high for years, the price for decent 32gb will fall quite a bit this year

He already mentioned delivery:

Also available for £33.24 from Scan, if you qualify for free delivery.

sorry says if you qualify for FREE delivery not plus £4 delivery thats what was mentioned

never even seen a 32GB class 10?

You are probably thinking of microSDHC rather than the normal-sized SDHC cards. Class 10 32GB SDHC cards are widely available these days, but not this cheap usually.

Well, quite a few other reputable IT retailers have them listed as well, so I gather the cards are not entirely rubbish. Eg, CCL sells them for £33.21 (cclonline.com/pro…asp?product_id=55275&tid=frooct).

And yes, Transcend's class 10 card has been around for quite a while.

You are very territorial about your deals aren't you? I assume most people are capable of filling in the gaps and realising that if you don't qualify for free delivery then you have to pay for delivery. Seeing as £33.24 is only just less than £34.95 they would realise that yours is the better deal if they don't qualify.

Anyway, heaven forbid he should mention a (possibly) cheaper place to buy this. That's not what this site is about.

this page is for comments not territory if someone comments on an op's post then a reply is normal
andyken did just that he said "Also available for £33.24 from Scan" which is cheaper or so to imply which also is not true for if anyone qualified for free delivery @ scan im sure he would of posted that
im sure if you post an item and someones say its cheaper elsewhere you'll just let it lie (i bet).

I just don't understand why you are so defensive about your deals. They seem to get hot anyway so what's the point in quibbling with people making legitimate comments? If you qualify for free delivery, then obviously the Scan deal is better. For everyone else, this deal is better. What's the problem?

With SDXC cards hitting the shelves (with a theoretical maximum capacity of 2TB), the price of these "smaller" cards is going to drop.
