Brilliant, thanks, just ordered 1 and code works.
Write Speed the same as Read Speed. Is that correct?
Struggling to say no to such a grwat price, albeit with not so great speeds.

Might give in a bit later

Nice one....nearly paid full price as well!! Heat added to OP.
Buying unbranded flash memory products, be it RAM or flash drives or memory cards, is a bad idea in general. Given the amount of negativity associated with this particular product line, I'm surprised they're still being voted hot. The warranty is not so important, as faults usually only occur within the first week of using.

If you must save a few pounds by buying this over a branded item, you should regularly test it using a tool like h2testw. Same goes for unbranded RAM.
Surely a better option for a few more pounds would be this Verbatim one that's heavily discounted?

I think it's one of those 'your mileage may vary' situations as I've had 'unbranded' sticks from 7dayshop and MyMemory and found them more reliable than other brands. Sure, they may be slower but then you're paying for value not performance.

In the same vein, I love using my refurb Corsair Voyager GTRs for moving data around quickly and have had few problems but others absolutely hate them and their reliability - I wouldn't use them for long-term storage, only moving data from home and work or short distances conveniently.

Definitely agree on the H2testw, though that only checks capacity is correctly shown and data can be written and read from all of the stick, it's not really a burn test.

Actually you're right, didn't notice that. Would be surprised though at the mymemory price if it actually attained 10mb/s read/write & didn't stop working within the year. Worth a go at the price though suppose
256GB Flash memory for £100.66... Quality! If only we could group those as an insane RAID bundle

I think there is a YouTube video someone to show its been done before, certainly an ambition - but would be a huge device unless you intend to strip the casing off each one

But also note it'll be one slow brick. You won't see increased speeds. An SSD NAS is more appropiate if you don't want moving parts - but you'd need a small mortgage for a RAID of those!!

Works as share store on Linksys router & storage on PVR and works on the 4 PC's I have tried it on.Negatives - the logo rubs off easily & it's a naff shade of baby blue - who cares.UPDATE - Bought a second, now £16.95, h2testw shows 5.2MB/s write & 18MB/s read. Appearance identical.

Yes, though it does depend on the quality of the video in question. It should be fine for HD content so long as you're not trying to play a full-quality Bluray rip.
Ordered have some heat
sites not down, just his commission link doesnt work
Went for one to use as the storage on my new 32EX723 Sony TV
