3.2 metres???..thats tiny!!

no max weight spec on site which is a bit daunting, surely that is on of the main needed pieces of info...!?

There's 4 different sizes with 3.8 being the longest:thumbsup:

Its a good price. These frequently pop up on the shopping channels for over £100

=10'6" far taller than a step ladder

Depends what you want it for. Will reach the eaves of a bungalow but not the gutters of a two storey house. Designed for a surveyor to get into the loft, obtain access to flat roofs etc. Biggest benefit is that it folds to the size of a briefcase, so you can take it into flats in a lift. Store in a cupboard.
The weight capacity is a serious omission - agreed.
Thanks for pointing out the incorrect link - my first deal post - sorry - now corrected

This is mega cheap have you seen how much QVC charge for one around £175 with postage !

Cant see the rings at the bottom of the Ebuyer ones which enable you to lower the ladder in one go, these might have to be done one rung at a time ?

would the 3.8m one reach the first floor windows of a semi for cleaning?

Nice pic ;-)

yes

Wouldn't ]http//ww…875 be better?

i am surveyor and i have just ordered two for my team.
the max weight ommsion is a bit of a worry though.

My colleague has this type of ladder in her car boot ...you can't imagine how small and handy they are unless you've seen one.

Have some better pics

..not be using it yourself then:whistling:
Seriously though, is it not a legal requirement to have loading weights on ladders nowadays?
...stands back to be corrected.........

It looks like my surveyors ladder - a compact unit but mighty weighty.

It differs from mine in that I cant see safety catches at each rung level, so you dont trap your fingers as it is lowered by accident.

I think this is the same ladder; ]Chinese Ladder Mfr

Their spec says 150kg load across the range.

Good deal, as even 1/2 - 2/3 that load should be sufficient for most people

Good Post! A very useful item to have heat added!

you have obviously not seen the size of my surveying team!! special k diets sll round me thinks!!

This is a great deal but as I live in an old building with very high ceilings I opted for the 3.8 meter version and added in a cheap computer cable (which I needed anyway) to bring the total to just over 50 quid to qualify for the free postage.

I've had my eye on the next cheapest I could find for a while - eBay @ 87.95 so it really is a great deal. Very hot!

Just ordered a 3.8m one - ta OP

I sell these for a living and there is no way you would find me up a set of these costing this money. The decent ones that I sell are over £100 plus the vat and are 3.8m. The difference in quality really is massive.

lol, i think someone might be protecting their ebay stock that they still have to shift!

yeah but if you only use them now and again you dont need fantastic £200 ladders tbh.........These will do the job just fine....Thanks OP

No, you'll need at least 4.5m unless you want a trip to hospital.

No specs is a big worry, you can't take it for granted they're the same as other sites specs. :?

Im a burglar so this is a great find,I might have to buy it tho!

The specs I posted are from the probable suppliers and I think it might be more than co-incidental that they use the same part number.

I think it is fair to assume that they are one and the same item.

just as i thought at 3.8 meters it would just reach the windowsill of the first floor window and id be streching with my feet on the last rung to get the windows cleaned!

shame really if only they were 4.5m! as these ladders really are very ideal, they dont take up much space and can be easily carried around/transported etc.

I already have a 2m and a 3m ladder iv told my neighbour an all if your gonna get a ladder get a big one that way it saves having to but a diff ladder for different situations.

keeping an eye out for the 5m ones now, that way i can sort the guttering out if it comes to that in future (and clean the first floor windows)!

Agree the specs are probably the same, but ya wouldn't catch me 12ft up on assumptions :whistling:

adam, you'll need 6m ladders for gutters

Ebuyer is a big, reputable company and I've been dealing with them for years - no probs. I just can't see them selling anything that wasn't up to standard - I still vote this real hot!

This could save a fortune in Glastonbury tickets!

What do people think of this instead, might also fit in a boot, but extends to a much more useful 4.8m, and only £33

I am worried that both these ladders with lots of joints might be a bit wobbly compared to the traditional extension ladder, does anyone have experience of working at height on a telescopic or folding ladder?

Looks good - have worked up the top of my £50 homebase folding ladder in high winds (approx 3m up an approx 3.6m ladder) & they felt fine - give me a decent folding ladder over a less strong extension ladder anyday (and I'm towards the weight limit on these types of ladder).

Anybody work out if these ladders are manual or automatic release yet ?

Better but still wouldn't trust them unless they were a decent brand or i could check the quality before buying.

Good deal, I added another item for a tenner and got free postage (would have been 12.99)!
