Great deal.

Even better is if your trading £50 worth of games you can get the extra 33% by buying a £5psn or 350msp (small amount)
Yup hot did this last year.
Great deal, does anyone know if it applies to consoles? The T&C says games, but mentions consoles in the next sentence...

Good deal but some of the games I was about to trade went down in price
Does anyone know when the 20% off 2 sale items ends? Going to attempt to use some of the credit I already have.

Yes, it would be better to bring what you want to the desk, because they won't put it on a gift card, you need to spend the £££ straight away, if you have £2-£3 over they should (but they dont have to) put it on a gift card.

Trade your games in, at the till ask for the 33% extra and then tell them what amount.

With this deal I just ask for the smallest amount to get the extra credit, take in £100 worth of trade in games, get the extra 33% and buy a £5 pan voucher.
Offer ends 31.01.13 and you can't use the price match or any other offers (so 4 games with £10 added deal) when you do this offer, one or the other.

Your talking ****,

they add up your games. Then add the amount of digital product you want. What ever is leftover goes onto a gift card. Even if you only buy a £5 psn or 350msp
Well I traded in 4 games at GAME today and didn't get the extra £10, if that makes any difference (only just realised now).

There is no need to be rude about it.

While this may be true for others it was not for me, I spent my money when I made the trade in because that is what they said I had to do.
Games just knocked £10 off any decent trade in 's today(halo, dogma, ninja gaiden etc) probably lost £100 overnight in what I traded today

They do that all the time, I bought a lot of stock from my work at a discount and traded them in to game, spent under £125 and got £400 in game credit

I just checked some of the prices now, so I traded them in at the right time and got the extra £10 every time and a ton of points on my reward card!

For example Twisted Metal was £18 each to trade in at game (now £9), I bought it at 2 for £20, not including my staff discount

To trade-in; all games and consoles must be in good working order and of satisfactory quality

Might trade in my ss ps3 and fifa 13
£100 for ps3 + 33% (£33)= £133
£18 for fifa + 33% (£5.94) = £23.94

Doubt they would include consoles though

I agree, it does that but before it also says "Offer applies to PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, 3DS, PSP and PS Vita games only."

This was live on Thursday when my son traded in his games. They put the remaining credit on a gift card after buying points.

I definitely mentioned it as he was scanning the stuff, then it went off an a tangent about one game not having a manual (didnt have one in the first place). Guess there's nothing I can do now...

get on the live chat monday morning complain about it they should be able to put the points value on your reward card

Game seems to have dropped their trade-in prices last night, so might be worth checking what CEX offers for them first.

Ie, using the Fifa example as used above by Shayno:

Using 33% extra deal: £18 for fifa + 33% (£5.94) = £23.94

CEX offers £24 credit, so if you get Game to price match, you'll get £25 credit in total which can then be spent on the points, or anything else. Better off by £1.06 getting them to price match rather than using the 33% extra deal.

Complain to them on their online chat. Just tell them you weren't given he extra £10 credit when you traded in 4 items, if the one person is being difficult, just refresh the window until you get someone that is willing to help. From experience, they seem to be more willing to help if you thought the staff in store were rude. I was underpaid by £6 on a game compared with the online price checker, complained and they put £7.50 on my loyalty card.

Also, if it helps to clarify, each of the 4 games will have an additional £2.50 added to their values on the receipt. There won't be any other indication of the extra credit on the receipt. It's not obvious if the offer has been added, unless you are aware of what they are offering for each before taking the games in.

+1 to using the chat, I was due £8 because the app said £21 but they could only give me £17, used the chat and got it back, plus an extra £5!

Yeah I only really did it because I wanted steam and PSN credit, I don't buy games at all, never mind @ GAME, where as you can't get big discounts for credit, so you can make big savings doing stuff like this.

That's also a good idea, they said they are looking to buy some HMV (blockbuster also?) stores, so they might be around for a while, at least till the end of the year when it or the PS4 (might?) come out
