taste reminiscent of a lower abv Duvel.

had a dozen of these over Christmas and loved 'em; been looking for more, but this is the first time I've seen 'em since (1 Stop Birmingham).

Not sure of the brewery credentials: 3545 Halen in Limburg fwiw

Best Before Jan 2022 so no issues on that front

They’ve put the price up

It’s been a quid for last 8 of 9 months

Yeah, they were 99p when I last saw them, and hadn't moved at that price in my local store - most decent offers sell out there really quickly so this is cold for me!

ah, now you mention it... at 99p it makes more sense that I filled my basket. still a nice drink, but probably not worth posting at £3.45 a litre, ah well

Worse than that, the ABV has also dropped from 6% to 5%, since it was last posted on here ...
It is an 'interesting' beer, with "spices" among the ingredients. Tasted of cloves to me. Not something I'll be rushing to buy more of. Cute bottle though.

yeah, mostly I go for Tesco 8 can for £9, great for IPAs .. but sometimes only proper Belgian stuff will hit the spot. except for the rare occasions that Duvel is on 4 for £6 then I still can't recall a regular deal that beats this. (yep, leffe when it's £2.50 but I find that crazily sweet)
