I'd rather give money to shipto anyday of the week. UK supplier who pays tax, and doesn't sell grey import keys mugging off the developers in process.

Bought. Far more ethical retailer than cdkeys

they are horrible, they send your package in the worst way possible so it arrives damaged, then wont let you return it, worst uk supplier by far, they also cancel your order then resell it for more money

I've never had a bad package, I've bought dozens of games off them.

Do you think your opinion is statistically representative of all buyers or something? What a ridiculous assertion!

If shopto were the 'worst retailer UK supplier by far' they wouldn't be still trading after several years would they.

I reiterate I would prefer to give my cash to a taxpaying UK retailer than greykey selling importer.

Look at their reviews on Trustpilot. Speaks for itself.

I stopped at the point shop to wanted my DOB before purchase, and only via PayPal. Never seen that requested before. Also looking at a previous purchase it looks like they rather sneakily charged me £7 on top of the price I thought I paid, could be VAT but will have to check last year's bank statements

Companies can get bad reviews off Trustpilot, I'd never go by Trustpilot alone, just look at Better bathrooms, probably one of the worst companies in recent time, but they had 5 star Trustpilot ratings as that had all the lower ratings taken off.

True, I'm talking from personal experience of never having a bad purchase and I've purchased dozens ....

I have to question people that state a business is the 'worst in UK' - on what basis? It makes no sense, if Shopto truly send things broke etc then why would you keep shopping with them! That would be a bit stupid would it not....the internet is full of toxicity, people that trash a company with outrage based on one bad experience. That is not really representative of the majority of customers .

You may well be right, Trustpilot can be doctured. However I'd still argue if Shopto were that bad, why have they not gone under?

I've shopped at ShopTo dozens of times too, I've always had excellent service from them and quick delivery, I was just stating that Trustpilot reviews can't always be 100% trusted as companies get the bad ones taken off, but yeah everyone moans and slates a retailer once they have a bad experience them unfortunately.
